  1. I should add that the ICE trains are the Express trains marked IC or ICE. S-bahn regional trains are marked S with number & the regional express marked RE or RB regional bahn with number
  2. There are quite a few trains after the game from Cologne to Dusseldorf into the early hours-have a look on the DB site for time-The ICE trains tend to be more expensive to purchase tickets on the day, you dont need to book the regional trains & even they only take roughly half an hour to Dusseldorf depending on amount of stops….I am staying in Neuss near Dusseldorf, of which there are a couple that stop at Neuss without me needing to go into Dusseldorf, so I will be getting one of the regional trains ( S bahn/RE trains)-hope that helps
  3. Yes thanks I know where it is, just wondered what its like
  4. What do you think of Neuss? Cheers
  5. Thanks so much, i am a Runrig fanatic & always remember Cologne being a special place in their hearts…. I just hope NEUSS is fun…. Like I hope it would be, I never had a Kolsch beer I am looking forward to trying it…..I been to Berlin only & I loved it & every single German seems to get us & I love the idea of it…wish my daughter could have got tickets but thats just the way it is….. my lovely PoppA loved Germany in 1974 & he here no more but he reckoned it was the best….
  6. Wish i was still young enough tae party all night at my age 😆, I am hoping to get 00.07or 00.14 or even 01.07 back to Neuss after the game so hoping thats a possibility TA-West Germany ? I couldnt afford Cologne prices so went for 5 days in Neuss & I am getting Deutschlandticket for my two weeks in Germany for use on none match days in addition to ICE train bookings I have made-Can i ask what is your opinion of Neuss, it seems a decent place from YouTube videos? Thanks
  7. When the tickets were purchased I was able to get the Fans First tickets for this game & that seemed to indicate that Fans First tickets went right across the lower section behind the goal. I had seen on various Bayern Munich forums that a new path was available for away fans to & back to Frottmaning metro, which I was pleased about as I want to get back quickly as possible to Munich for connection out to Augsburg after the game-so I emailed Bayern at Allianz Arena & they advised ‘all fans will have to use the Esplanade in this instance’ so unclear if path will be available, closed or open to all.
  8. Still no loyalty points added-very odd
  9. I am staying in Augsburg tae, Munich was tae expensive for me- I have booked Ice train at 01.15 after match but also going to buy the Deutschlandticket so I can use over the month of June, giving me the option of S Bahn trains out of Munich if I miss the 01.15 train I am expecting huge queue after match at Frottmaning metro but hoping German efficiency will get the metro trains moving quickly…. Looking at Bayern Munich forums, the games are all sold out & so the crowd at the metro will be the same & people indicate crowd/queue has usually gone in an hour after match.
  10. Got an email from SSC just now, said loyalty points will be added ‘as soon as possible’ not like them to be vague !
  11. Aye we were the same…. Loyalty points still not updated yet
  12. Aye right…..songs about murdering catholics & utter hatred of Scotland….. you carry on
  13. Mostly agree, the Dezmondo post must be a joke…… going into the ground we were subjected to a group of them singing ‘no surrender’ ‘up to their knees’ . The point is most of us are not offended or bothered by opposing fans chants, but the vile hate that they spout I do get bothered about as it has no place in our society present day….as i said previously anybody defending that shit probably has their leanings. Some of the people commenting on this forum probably don’t go to matches at home let alone abroad- every single foreign national anthem is applauded by Scotland fans genuinely, except one. I am nearly 66 & spent my whole life following Scotland everywhere & I am proud to be part of the TA, I behave with a welcoming cordial genial demeanour when in contact with opposing fans & so do the vast majority of the TA, I will make one exception where I have been attacked & spat on-on more than one occasion, (even once when I had my daughter & grandson with me) by the englunders for no apparent reason other than I had the kilt on. Not once have I have encountered such an issue elsewhere or with other opposition fans at Hampden. i repeat anybody defending NI fans & for that matter engerlunders is for the ignorant
