  1. Yes. But if he didn't watch him for 2/3 of the season, I doubt very much that he would've watched the last third. Why he couldn't be bothered to watch him? I have no idea.
  2. The Jadon Sancho stat that shows Ryan Gauld is shining in Portugal as Scot makes Euro 2020 dream admission
  3. He already gave the reason. He's admitted that he's not seen Gauld in action this season. Which is incredible.
  4. It'll be incredible. His competition is McGinn, Fraser, Christie, McGregor. Gauld is better than all of them. His numbers, in a league that's far superior to the SPL, and for a team who will be relegated, underlines this. As I said a few days ago, the very fact that Clarke has never watched Gauld in action this season is dereliction of duty. I mean, WHO is he watching? What is he doing? I've seen Gauld more than a dozen times this season. I'm doing his job.
  5. Oh. So you're entitled to dictate the contents of the thread that I started and tell people what they can't discuss? Huh. Ok, Mr Unofficial Admin. I don't think so. Now stop trying to ruin this thread. If you want to tell people what they can and can't talk about, be a dear and create your own thread... and invade Poland, whilst you're at it. </Communication>
  6. Scott McTominay with a really good performance. Hopefully he plays himself into form as he has been off the boil for the past month. He was taking pelters by the United fans because of his previous performance.
  7. Really? That old chestnut. Check out the other side of the board. Name me one of them that are on topic and unruined. (That isn't the political ones) You'll notice that I havent posted in any of them. Oh. I forgot, people only blame me for ruining threads. Obsessed, much. And this is my thread. You're the one telling people what they can't talk about. That, to me, is trolling.
  8. Unbelievable. There's literally nothing more Ryan Gauld could've done this season. His numbers, going by his team, are phenomenal.
  9. Or why don't you start a thread that says "I'm the unofficial TAMB Admin and every one who posts here have to do my bidding and have my permission to post"? Unless someone is breaking the rules by being abusive, rude, etc, they have a right to post here. Don't like it? You have to lump it.
  10. Anyone who has the attitude "I won't lose any sleep if Gauld isn't named in the squad", etc, obviously haven't seen him. Gauld and Dykes with McGinn just behind would be a dynamic combination.
  11. Goalkeepers: Dominik Livakovic (Dinamo Zagreb), Lovre Kalinic (Hajduk Split), Simon Sluga (Luton Town). Defenders: Sime Vrsaljko (Atletico Madrid), Domagoj Vida (Besiktas), Josip Juranovic (Legia Warsaw), Dejan Lovren (Zenit St Petersburg), Duje Caleta-Car (Olympique Marseille), Borna Barisic (Rangers), Mile Skoric (Osijek), Josko Gvardiol (Dinamo Zagreb), Domagoj Bradaric (Lille). Midfielders: Luka Modric (Real Madrid), Marcelo Brozovic (Inter Milan), Milan Badelj (Genoa), Mateo Kovacic (Chelsea), Nikola Vlasic (CSKA Moscow), Mario Pasalic (Atalanta), Luka Ivanusec (Dinamo Zagreb). Forwards: Bruno Petkovic (Dinamo Zagreb), Ivan Perisic (Inter Milan), Andrej Kramaric (Hoffenheim), Josip Brekalo (Vfl Wolfsburg), Ante Rebic (AC Milan), Mislav Orsic (Dinamo Zagreb), Ante Budimir (Osasuna)
  12. I think you could be right. Tomas Soucek could be a lot of damage from midfield if he isn't shackled. A lot with depend on our match against the Czechs. Starting the group with 3 points will set the tone.
  13. Every opinion is here. It is called "Euro 2020: injury list". It's not specifically regarding Scotland players. It is, however, regarding the Scotland national team (our players as well as who we are playing) There's rules to this forum. If posts aren't breaking aforementioned rules, they are welcome. Personally, I want to be updated on England, Czech and Croatian injuries.
  14. To be honest, I don't know. Belgium have only listed 26. But since Croatia have named 8 in reserve, that might be the maximum backup number.
  15. Bet there's a lot of happy people here. The lad is heartbroken (as any Scotland supporter would be if they missed out playing at a tournament) and yet there's pages and pages of bile. Congrats.
  16. Judging by Croatia's provisional squad, Clarke can pick 26 + 8 standby players.
  17. lol Well, once a Hibee always a Hibee. 😛 I was thinking the same thing. Including training facilities, etc, winning trophies (as easy as it is for the Old firm)
  18. Ex Scotland boss Craig Brown has life-saving surgery after suffering aneurysm
  19. Well, you just mentioned two exceptions. How about the other youngsters? Darren Young, Alex Notman, Paul Browne, Severin, McGarry, etc. Were those players able to shift McCoist, McCall, Burley, Boyd? The notion that Craig Brown never tried to integrate any youngster is a fallacy. Hell, if you aren't of a certain vintage, you wouldn't even know who I just listed.
  20. Well, when the future was Lee "Maldini" Wilkie and Gary "Pirlo" Holt, I would've grasped hold of the likes of Weir and Collins, etc, for sheer death. Fine. You make a point with Gordon, Fletch, Faddy, Miller. Regardless of that, though, in later years we had Brown, Hutton, McManus, Fletcher, Ferguson, Miller, Boyd, Naismith, McGregor, etc. If one of Craig Brown's successor done their research and copied his blueprints (formation) we wouldn't have had to wait 23 years. The managers who came between Brown and Clarke have the most to answer for.
  21. I do think his hands were tied, though. I do blame the Old Firm. Ok. Rangers almost got to the European Cup final with 9 Scots in 92/93, but that was with the likes of Dave McPherson, etc. With no youngsters in sight. Apart from McSwegen and Hagen who were flash in the pans.
  22. Ah. Thanks for the head's up. I deleted the end of my post. yeah. Brown wasn't playing with a good bunch of kids at the time.
  23. I know the Morocco match looks like a pounding (it seemed it at the time) but watching it again, we should've won. If I remember correctly, at least 2 of their goals were defensive mistakes. It just think it was what it was. I'm sure Brown would've loved to have freshener up the squad, but he had no options. Steve Clarke doesnt have that excuse. He has a player playing amazingly well in the Portugese Primeira Liga, a player who is a generational player at Chelsea, and Turnbull looks like Gary McAllister incarnate.
