  1. Difference being ours are almost exclusively guff/past it
  2. I'd say if we don't win the Slovenia game at home (to well and truly end any hope of qualifying) then that would be the final straw for our over 30s (other than our goalies). Kind of futile keeping the likes of Russell Martin in who won't improve and has regressed in the last couple of years. If Scot Gemmill is adamant he'll only play players eligible for the next under 21 campaign then it's surely time to start playing a few of the last crop in the first team (thinking of John McGinn and Ryan Fraser in particular).
  3. People may laugh but Greer has actually been very good for us when he's come in, plus he's actually playing regularly. Could be a shout to play him.
  4. Who would you pick for the game? Also what do people think Strachan will go with? Interesting to see how different the fans' team would be... Personally I would go with Marshall, Paterson, R. Martin, Berra, Kingsley, Brown, McArthur, D. Fletcher, Snodgrass, Burke, Griffiths Strachan I feel is likely to go for Marshall, Paterson, R. Martin, Hanley, Wallace, Brown, Morrison, D. Fletcher, Snodgrass, Ritchie, C. Martin Always hold out some sort of hope, but God help us if Chris Martin plays up top on his own.
  5. Great news, could be an important player on Friday. Too bad our defence is still utter keech.
  6. O'Neills it is then, looks both lively and scummy enough for our sort!
  7. O'Reilly's could be a shout, cheers. No doubt our group will be after out and out clubs for the sake of potential clunge so will see how it goes...
  8. Anyone aware of the London rules around nightclub entry? Quite keen on a discodance post-match but unsure of whether door staff will be strict if you have a Scotland top on...
  9. Ritchie's f***ing magic He wears a magic hat He could've played for England But he said no f*** that He plays out on the left wing And sometimes on the right And when we qualify we'play song this song all night
  10. See where you're coming from but gut instinct tells me he'll do the decent thing and resign if we lose to England no matter what the circumstances are
  11. Mixed feelings on this although don't doubt he'll go when the inevitable pumping off a mince England team comes. Having thought about it since Tuesday's shambles there are plenty of candidates I feel could take us forward. The most frustrating aspect is his stubbornness in terms of team selection and formation.
  12. I well know the feeling! In my late 20s now so can only vaguely remember watching EURO 96 and France 98 on the telly as a wee boy. You guys had it so good - jealous!
  13. I will always attend the home games and the away ones I can afford to in terms of time and money - probably don't have a tipping point and will support Scotland no matter how bad we are. The saddest thing though is that in recent years the away trips have often felt more and more of a social event to catch up with old mates and the football almost peripheral.
