www.wingsoverscotland.com/the-enemy-within/#more-68128 Mair Steve Bell cartoons fae the Gruniad. It's a wee bit perturbing that this white-collar rascist cack is comin fae a "quality" / "centre" newspaper. The Conservative & Labour Party cannae be faur awa' tae stave aff the impending National Emergency when Scotland democratically votes for a democratic perty that isnae Red or Blue Tory. I heard it said UK PLC was asleep at the wheel over the Referendum and only really woke up wae Rupert Murdochs 51% YES poll. Looks as though they're wide-awake noo and warmin' up for 7/5. The reality that absolutely scares the keech oota them is how broke UK PLC actually is. £1.5 TRILLION and counting !!! That's like 80% OF THE UK'S ENTIRE ECONOMIC OUTPUT. .....or.......£1 BILLION debt interest FCKN WEEKLY INCREASE !!! Aberdeen O&G industries alone contribute 20% to UK Corporation Tax. Westminster is full of talk of cnstitutional crisis in the event we take 50% + of Scots votes & constituency seats. Don't mention the impending financial crisis if we walk away fae their self-inflicted mess. Roll on 7 May :-) -
Mhairi Black, Paisley N: 1. Ladbrokes SNP 4/6 fav. From 12/1 in Oct 2014. 2. Paisley Ref Vote 47%. 3. Paisley SNP MSP. 4. SNP Swing reqd 21%. National average SNP swing currently predicted 25%. 5. Electoral Calculus prediction: 56% probability SNP. 6. may2015.com predicted SNP majority 20%. 7. Labour $hit List published in Sunday Herald 25/1/15: Labour voter contact "less than 100" i.e. few Lab footsoldiers so very little contact with electorate. Taken together she's got a better than even chance of winning.

There will be many vested interests in Scotland who'd be perfectly happy with power being retained by the Tory/Labour collaboration, principally, because they draw income from ensuring the status quo is maintained. Such kvntz are beneath contempt. As in, complete and utter contemptuous pieces of $hite. Deserving only of death by a thousand ..........(complete)....camel farts.

www.wingsoverscotland.com/the-union-of-the-snakes/#more-64998 Happy New Year to all TAMB'rs :-) WOS, the Guardian, Financial Times, Spectator and New Statesman report a National Government is being considered post GE 2015. That's a Tory/Labour collaboration to you and me. The reason is to prevent a "constitutional crisis" i.e. SNP power in Westminster. What's so bad about this that would bring about a national crisis. Power. It would move substantially from London to Embra, So what ? It means, for example, UK disnae get Trident renewal. This is bigger than a big thing. Washington and Jerusalem will be "apocalyptically" and "cataclysmically" furious with London. Punters shouldnae underestimate how important this issue is to where London's seat at the UN Security Council is. Angus Robertson gets it. So what ? Austerity allows Trident renewal. You and me pay for this. So what ? "All taxes belonging to Scotland stay in Scotland" claim Embra SNP. Fair play. But that means if the oil revenue tap is turned aff the London world-wide power/military adventurism must stop. Nae mair Iraqs & Afghanistans. Not to mention the hundreds of generals, admirals and air-marshals plus their staffs who'll be oot oan their arses. Don't underestimate the power these people have within the corridors of London decision-making circles. It's a fckn crisis tae them. UK isnae that militarised, is it ? Scotland needs Tricky Jim, Patron Saint of Expenses, to assure the Scots electorate there will be no continuation of Tory/Labour collaboration.............mibbes oan Twitter/Facebook/MSM etc etc

New Labour Leader

Scottish Labour vote for their Branch convener. They willingly choose the Tory collaborator, Murphy. I knew those photos of him, shoulder to shoulder, with his East Ren Tory chums would come in handy...... Cannae wait to hear Murphy at FMQ's wae Nicola......oh.........wait.... -
www.wingsoverscotland.com/the-conservative-and-labour-party/ The SNP have declared "no coalition with the Tories" in the event of a hung parliament GE 2015 - unlike Labour. Clearly, the Scottish Branch of Labour collaborated with their Tory allies to ensure Dave Cameron stayed in power in London. Labour far preferred Tory London rule to self-government for Scotland. Particularly, a centre-left Scotland. So. How far fetched is a Tory/Labour coalition next year ? Wingsoverscotland articulate their views in the attached article. Tongue in cheek ? Mibbes. Join up the dots. Labour have been centre-right neo-liberal since Tory Blair took power. They are pro-nukes. They are pro-banks and pro-corporations. They are pro-austerity and believe Scotland is a "something for nothing culture". A toilet papers width of difference from their Tory allies policies. What's the incentive for a Tory/Labour coalition ? Power. Loads of power. The City would love it. USA & Israel would love it. NATO would love it. The Liberals did it. Why not Labour ? Fact or fiction ?

It should be up to the individual whether they wear the poppy or not. After all, those commemorated fought and died for such freedoms did they not ? Condemnation of those who choose not to is surely reactionary and authoritarian. Further, DTB is correct to highlight the "Americanisation" of UK military, in this light. Scottish Labour MP, Thomas Docherty (Dunfermline & West Fife) has a private bill which has reached 2nd reading at Westminster based on anti-discrimination of UK military. www.thomasdocherty.org.uk He has received direct support from MoD to assist his bill. They have, together, revealed "shocking" statistics. So what ? Under this law military, whilst wearing uniform, are to receive improved public services. Failure for e.g. a restaurant to do so may result in legal action taken against them. Additionally, employers may be prosecuted for failure to hire army reservists or hold their jobs open if those reservists volunteer for operational service (normally approx. 12 months incl pre-deployment training and post-operational tour leave). This is a significant enforcement piece of legislation which requires civil society to enhance military service - whether they want to or not. It is no real surprise that the Labour party are as keen to introduce such legislation to be supported and approved by the Conservative government. Some may see such pro-militarist alliance as merely a continuation of Better Together.

Snp Deputy Leadership Contest
wwta2007.com replied to rasputin's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
Whisper is Alex Salmond stands in the Libdem Malcolm Bruce MP seat. Ladbrokes are already showing this as 8/11 SNP. I don't see Mr Salmond taking a seat in Westminster without him being heid-banana of the SNP group which is looking good for 20+. Mr Robertson is not particularly popular within the party. -
Hosie or Brown ? Two deputies working to one heid-banana. One in Edinburgh, one in Westminster. I guess the SNP head-shed would have to be adjusted to allow this however being able to delegate to two very capable subordinates with a massive workload on the horizon gotta have merit, especially with two capital cities fully involved.

Was The Referendum Rigged ?
wwta2007.com replied to Angstgoose's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
Spot on. At 0650hrs there was a queue at our Aberdeen polling station. I left at 2200hrs. Those queuing were senior citizens and well-heeled types. It was the pattern throughout the day. They all looked like they just licked pi$h aff a thistle. No eye contact. Nae smiles. Just determination tae get in there and make sure we lost. We knew from No activists in Aberdeenshire that they were well aware that the schemes in oor toons and cities were Yes and therefore the Tory kvntz ensured the working class vote was to be cancelled oot = they need nae lessons in GOTV. It was appalling how many of them heeded their call to stop the working classes winning. My council ward is Libdem. However, they were there supporting the local tory call. I despise Libdems even more now. -
An overall majority in a parliamentary election was always part of the SNPs mantra. There are 59 Scottish MPs in Westminster. Until recently it was 72. As devolution has increased our say on foreign affairs, defence and other non-devolved matters has decreased. Another reason for self-government. If the SNP GE 2015 campaign seeks a mandate for independence based on taking 30 of those seats then what's to stop them ? And/or taking 50.1 % of votes cast. I don't see a 83% turnout in Scotland on a UK general election. Accordingly, if our 1.6 million hold together until next May then we have a fair old chance of taking those 30 seats.
