  1. Ye that's partly why I asked, Wembley surrounding area is gash for boozers!
  2. That sounds about right, cheers! Better answer than that squirrel chap.
  3. Just trying to gauge consensus if this is an absolute no go or not as trying to make plans for the day. Post Remembrance Day stuff obviously, seems like that will all be cleared away by noon?
  4. For me it's as big as it gets outwith tournament football. Imagine how moumental winning would be! However unlikely that may seem at the moment!
  5. I miss Macar. Had to remove myself from that in the end, truelly horrific
  6. As much as he's an objectionable little sod, Griffiths has to start. works very hard, always looking for the ball, not afraid to have a ping, perfect for this type of away game! Would also like to see Russell get a look in, Steven Fletcher, for all his talent, his goal record for Scotland and Sunderland is pretty miserable. Also, cannot understand why anyone would pick Whittaker over Robertson if both are fit. The shadow of '07, however irrational, is still making me come out in sweats....
  7. 1-0, Johhny Russel off the bench as the hero.
  8. When the draw came out for this campaign, qualification seemed a ridiculous notion, so even to have us in the mix for automatic qualification is an achievement in itself. Arise Sir Gord... Have any Scotland internationals ever been knighted? Fergie and Busby I dont think ever played for Scotland? Surely Christian Daily deserves one. Hopefully he would reject such a kind offer from Her Majestys Government, but it sticks that the entire England Cricket team of 2005 got one!
  9. Scott Allen surely gets in that team? Stuart Armstrong will become a big player for us aswell.
  10. Wasn't sure about the week of football concept but have to say i have quite enjoyed it, Germany game on a Sunday was great, loads of locals out and about made for a cracker of a day. A Monday is no more of a pain the hoop than a Wednesday, if anything it's easier to make it a long weekend. An easy solution for those of us who don't live in the central belt would be to put on a couple of slightly later trains North and East, considering there are only about 5 home competitive games a year it surely shouldnt be too costly, as at the moment it's worth the gamble and some mug ends up having to be a designated driver.
  11. As a united season ticket holder, if Motherwell don't win tomorrow they will in trouble this season. I Calcuated we have brought in roughly £10m in sales in the past 12 months and in return brought in a half decent players half brother. 3-0 Well
  12. Germany game was South Upper- K3 from memory, not sure about the Poland game.
  13. P*ss poor, so many good cup upsets, relegation battles, helicopter sunday- the BBC are utterly hurrendous at selling Scottish Fitba! I know the quality isn't brilliant but two Donkeys in a race can still be an exiting race.
  14. My old man managed to get 3 tickets for each game this morning, without any bother.
