When the draw came out for this campaign, qualification seemed a ridiculous notion, so even to have us in the mix for automatic qualification is an achievement in itself. Arise Sir Gord... Wasn't sure about the week of football concept but have to say i have quite enjoyed it, Germany game on a Sunday was great, loads of locals out and about made for a cracker of a day. A Monday is no more of a pain the hoop than a Wednesday, if anything it's easier to make it a long weekend. An easy solution for those of us who don't live in the central belt would be to put on a couple of slightly later trains North and East, considering there are only about 5 home competitive games a year it surely shouldnt be too costly, as at the moment it's worth the gamble and some mug ends up having to be a designated driver.
