I wouldn’t say I was self righteous at all, no. Corruption in football is rife but I wouldn’t agree that it’s as blatant as some people are making out. I can see UEFA being desperate for the big countries to qualify for the European championships but they aren’t going to risk doing anything silly to try and get one particular player there, especially when it could risk Spain ending up in Pot 2 or even pot 3. They will want Spain in the quarter finals at least. People thinking that tonight’s game is rigged in Norway’s favour because UEFA want that big doofus Haaland to play in Germany seems ridiculous to me. Just my opinion of course. Well exactly and Spain are more likely to win because they have better players overall and as I mentioned earlier if there is any brown envelope nonsense going on (which I doubt) UEFA will be desperate for Spain to qualify as a pot 1 team. I think it will be quite a tight game though. Hopefully it will be a draw.

Paranoia. UEFA want Spain at Euro 2024 far more than they want Haaland there anyway. Spain missing out on Euro 2024 would cost UEFA millions in TV money. Haaland not being there will cost them about £8.99.

Possible but unlikely. They couldn’t beat us in Oslo so they are unlikely to beat Spain there. Even if they do we will pump Georgia.

Exactly my thinking. If we qualify tomorrow we (including the players) can all relax.

We want anything but a Norway win. Or at least I do. A draw would be ideal but it would be a nervy finish to the game for us. If Norway do win there is still no need to panic as it’s still in our hands and we would still have a good chance of winning the group.

They have all gone they way we thought they would. If that continues we’ll qualify on Sunday. If there’s a surprise win on Sunday then we go to Georgia knowing a win will seal our place in Germany.

If we draw in Georgia a one goal defeat would likely do unless Norway hammer Spain and improve their goal difference.

Not because I think we are shite or anything but most teams would struggle to get anything in Spain if the Spanish play anywhere near their best and I suspect they will be out to prove a point against us. Anything other than a defeat would be a huge bonus. If Spain don’t play well and we do then we can definitely take something but I think it’s pretty unlikely.
