  1. Get off at Govan and walk for 10 minutes and it should be quieter.
  2. Thanks for accepting the fact you can't read and are of limited intelligence.
  3. It seems clear (from a quick survey on these boards) that the support is split on whether to sing FoS. I think it's going to be a fairly muted version tbh. I wish it was possible for the stadium to be silent for the anthem as I think it would make the point in a way no other rendition could. The song is pretty much dead until we get another referendum on the agenda and that won't be for a long time now.
  4. When you learn to read you'll see that I said they were welcome to my seat. Your apology will be accepted, when you make it.
  5. What does it mean then? Please explain as I only see empty rhetoric in your post.
  6. Try reading my post. I did not say they shouldn't be allowed to go. I said I don't understand why they would want to go. They obviously do not believe in Scotland as a nation but do support the "national" team? Where's the consistent view in that?I cannot understand or excuse the blatant hypocrisy.
  7. Seriously? I haven't seen that word once on here and I freely admit I don't read all threads.I think you're making yourself look a bit ridiculous now Eddard.
  8. This is bang on. How you could possibly vote No but still want to go to a Scotland "national" team game in any sport beggars belief. Voting No may not have been driven by a choice to close down Scottish teams but it effectively means we are not a nation and therefore shouldn't have a team.
  9. Yes I went. The hypocrites are the No voters who'll turn up and there will be plenty. There's no reason to go to this game. It's a meaningless friendly with the very big chance of trouble. I'm not subjecting my kids to that kind of atmosphere just to line the SFAs coffers.
  10. Anyone singing it looks the same. Unionists don't have identifying marks. We'll all look just as daft singing it.
  11. None of the 3 games will sell out. Ireland will be the biggest crowd with the local Irish in amongst the home fans.I won't regret not going. The folk who are willing to be ripped off and happy to be hypocrites are welcome to my seat.
  12. I can't sing it again. The hypocrisy of a country voting against being independent and the words of this anthem are amazing. This will probably be my last game too. Scotland will shortly be no more if FIFA have their way and the SFAs disgraceful overcharging means I can't justify the expenditure anymore.
  13. Of course the support is divided. There's Yes voters, No voters and people who don't really care. FoS will be an utter embarrassment. The whole world knows that we shat it when we had the chance to actually be a nation again. We are effectively a laughing stock across the planet and singing this song is like being too stupid to notice everyone else at the party is laughing at you. I will not be singing it.
  14. Don't be stupid Rossy. Do you want me to go up to a dozen mentally unstable knuckle draggers and re-educate them? It's not going to achieve anything other than me getting my face punched? I'd happily hose this bunch with napalm but apparently this is illegal.
  15. Have you ever argued that black = white? It's what you appear to be doing now. If you voted No then why on earth would you support the team you've voted to disband? If you are a Rangers supporter, it's like buying a season ticket for Parkhead.
  16. Won't be singing FoS again until we get our independence. I can't. If you felt the meaning of the words before then they can't be sung until we get freedom. I will be having a minutes silence. To sing the song is to give in. To admit it means nothing. I'm not proud of Scotland just now, although I am proud of being Scottish. It's hard to explain. If I knew the guy next to me had voted No and was singing FoS I think I'd be in the jail for attempted murder. Maybe I'm the problem but I can't help how I feel.
  17. Quite frankly I can't understand that attitude. If you voted No why are you supporting a regional team of the UK? You've voted not to be a nation but follow the not national team? Can you see the problem here? FoS is dead as an anthem, especially since we are not actually a nation now. I won't be chanting anything and won't be singing any anthem. It would choke me. Any No voter who sings FoS is either a hypocrite or a simpleton. I will be supporting the team but that is it.
  18. I'd take Hearts at Ibrox in the quarters. Revenge mission. Plus think that might be a no bad game.
  19. Can I just point out the game was at Falkirk and therefore it was either their stewards or the police doing the confiscating. This has feck all to do with Rangers or their fans. Personally I'd ban all flags from football because all they do is get in the way of the football or some wee kid whacks you on the head with the bloody stick.
  20. If you believe this then you're the most gullible fool in these boards. The promise of more powers has evaporated already in the Westminster shitstorm. You and the rest of the 55% have voted to bend over and take it big style.
  21. What were you expecting? This is a football fans board not the UN. Grow up. I've told you where to look for the real facts so you need to get up off your lazy selfish arse and look at them or do you only do spoon feeding?
  22. The Wee Blue Book is pro-independence but that's their starting viewpoint. It uses all openly researchable sources and provides the links so that you can verify their claims. If you put in the legwork you can check everything they've said via unbiased sources. So that answers your first point. It looks to me that your selfishness was all the research you did. That and watching the news on the BBC.
  23. Try reading the Wee Blue Book. It will give you the truth and not the BBC and London media bullshit spun version. The figures do add up if you look at the real ones. You've said No was best for your family which makes you selfish. No was better financially for me but I voted Yes anyway.
  24. Exactly. We finally got the chance to choose and 55% of the people either chose self interest or shat it. How else can you describe their choice? We can't be Scottish now as that's not what was chosen. No voters chose to be British and nothing else.
  25. You're not Scottish. That nationality does not exist thanks to people like you. You're British.
