  1. Nice little town not too far from where I live.. If you are close to Siegburg station then great connection to Cologne city centre… Siegburg has a few cafes and bars… there’s worse places out there…
  2. The last one is a flex ticket then…
  3. Ah. Right. Any group larger than 5 counts as group booking which cannot be made online but by phone or in customer centers at main stations. Probably divide into several bookings and you should be fine…
  4. Post a screenshot of what you see here after entering all details. May be subject to availability…
  5. Nürnberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth, Rothenburg a.d. Tauber. Koblenz nice but almost in Cologne and guess booked more frequently due to distance to Cologne.
  6. No. Full schedule out there and I don’t think they will run extra ICEs for Euros. At least I did not read that anywhere… which connection is still open for you?
  7. Per the SFA newsletter venue for Holland away still tbc. Thought it said Amsterdam late last year…
  8. Yeah, bit wondering about that as loads of people already booked with BahnCard25 etc - so I thought availability for that price quite limited. But even better for everyone as cheaper
  9. For those 29,90€ tickets you had to register. Then just today you get an e-mail with a link that guides you to the page and then you can enter your travel and choose any ticket for 29,90€ - subject to availability.
  10. If German stewards at play, then bit easier as at German league games they are easy due to terrace standing. I heard rumours that for game in Cologne the local stewards from home games will be in charge.
  11. As said earlier, try to find motorhome campsites outside the city. If you look towards Frankfurt then the Westerwald region is worth it. Depending on where you would be based there, it's a 45-90 minute drive from there to Cologne.
  12. Deutsche Bahn is disaster yeah, hope this will get better once better weather and tournament get closer..
  13. Those are the three on city soil or closer to city. You may try regions around Cologne like Westerwald or so
  14. Frankfurt is not in the free public transport network of Cologne. For this reason you may have to book ICE to get back there. Gelsenkirchen easily reachable by stop over in Essen and Essen directly reachable via Regional train and even S-Bahn. As mentioned several times in other topics within this forum: Cologne is a city with heavy party Nightlife. So my suggestion is to book first train back in early morning.
  15. Normally yes but guess if you tell them Tartan Army on way to opening game, behave and give them a hug you should be fine 😎
  16. Kind of. Due to lack of staff my feeling is there’s less and less ticket checks on trams within last few months.
  17. Getting from Mülheim to city centre is easy. Take tram no 4 from von-Sparr-Str to Neumarkt and then walk to old town. As for tickets: day pass for city soil is 8,50€ and group day pass for up to 5 is 17,20€ . So if more than two in your group the group pass would do. You can buy tickets on the tram by card. When arriving from Brussels at Cologne central, take no 18 from Breslauer Platz to Mülheim Wiener Platz. You’ll arrive subway. Go upstairs to ground level and take no 4 to von-Sparr-Str, it’s two stops from there. Generally I would not bother too much about tickets as city will be packed with fans 😎
  18. No need to book a seat unless you are a bigger group and want to sit together. I travel with Deutsche Bahn frequently. Even in packed ICEs you usually find a spare unreserved seat. Worst case you can go to the board bistro and have a pint and seat there.
  19. Remagen not too bad to get to. Good choice
  20. Then you simply did not book with seat reservation eh?
  21. No other option than ICE but should be cheap if you book early enough
  22. Just more comfortable seats and less frequented so more peace compared to 2nd class
  23. Would recommend to take the train to Bergisch Gladbach and then take cab to place you stay at. Cab from city centre will be more difficult after game and once you are at Bergisch Gladbach easy to get one
  24. Good old nature one 😎 Hohenzollernring perfect for all the action
