  1. I had to look this up after reading your post, I think it's a great idea and maybe should be adopted for all future tournaments even ones that are not staged in multiple countries. I would rather we play in competitive matches during a campaign. It could even grow the sport because other countries would want to get involved hosting with neighboring countries and expose the world to different cultures. Andorra & Spain hosting or Germany & Czech Republic. In both scenario's there's at least one nation who is capable of hosting on their own but they might enjoy some cost reduction.
  2. It's pretty evident, when England want to keep the ball form us, they do but what's troubling is our press and our ability to tighten up.
  3. ok, that was better. We were building so lets keep pressing, Robbo getting more invovled now
  4. We are making far too many unforced errors, ball watching, not playing to the whistle, lack of pace on passes to name a few.
  5. They break fast, pass well which we will be vulnerable. Robbo making a rare costly error. It's not over by any stretch but I feel Adams is too short for this defense and they defend in numbers, unless we speed up play on the rare occasion, we attack they will lap it all up too easily.
  6. Bellingham and Rashford making a difference for them
  7. so anyway as I was saying this match doesn't matter.
  8. Foden had no clue where the ball was, but fair play it counts for them.
  9. The pace of the match is frantic at times, I'm quite enjoying the contest so far. Robbo's through pass to Tierney needed some more pace.
  10. Harry Kane is a first-class predator on the pitch, and will be a great test for our defense, as for their defense we have Super John McGinn.
  11. A few days ago I could not care less about this fixture, but I must admit today I am excited. Between us, if we lose it doesn't matter but if we win this match totally matters
  12. If we win today, does that make us the Heritage champions and we hold the title for the next 150 years?
  13. Scotland manager Clarke says Tuesday's friendly against England will be the perfect barometer of the progress his team has made.
  14. Love it, I think we are going to have to wait until October 15th when Spain play Norway for it all to be assured. You lads who will go to Georgia I am envious.
  15. I'd like to see Adams grab a goal or two and maybe a goal for Gunn as well, that would be nice
  16. What a goal that was from McGinn. I have to say that Gilmour just doesnt give the ball away. We might get humbled next week but dare I say we are actually a good team? I think I shall.
  17. I can't say I enjoy the posts above, but you guys are talking sense. An early goal would do wonders as they have only scored two goals so far and let in 8 in only three matches. We will get it done, I reckon the occasion more than the opposition will be what creates some nerves. Another three points gets us so much closer and this is our best opportunity out of the remaining 4 fixtures (including a home fixture against Norway). It's not done even if we win, but it puts so much pressure on Norway that they must win every single game (I am aware Georgia are not out yet but let's be realistic). Spain too will know they must take care of their business.
  18. I can only talk for myself, I know nothing about Ryan One, but the description given above made him sound like Oli Burke not that he would suffer from the same issues. Oli Burke may yet feature for us in the future, he will be losing some of his pace as he gets older and I read that he does work hard and listen well from his coaching, I cant help but wonder if he was able to work at one club for a few years and work with the same staff it could do him wonders.
  19. Nice, thanks for the trivia I learned something new.
