Yes I agree. However, juggling the numbers after a slow news/no news day, I just wonder IF this late bribe, offered AFTER a significant number of votes were cast, could genuinely impact the final result
Hypothetically
- if 80,000 had voted by Sunday and half of them
voted NO
- if half of those (20,000) WOULD have voted for
devo-max IF that option been available
- if turnout was 80%, those 20,000 postal votes
would reoresent 0.6% of t/out or a 0.3% swing
- if the final result was 49.7%/50.3%, this late
bribe would have made the difference
