  1. Quite the wordsmith. You're the one who seems to have difficulty reading as you seem obsessed with my argument that him not being a disqualified director in the jurisdiction where he encountered the tax issue is relevant. I never said this was conclusive to the SFA decision, which you somehow appear to have misunderstood and distorted my words accordingly. You were the one who said it was irrelevant. In any event, you've made an arse of yourself so many times on here I'm not sure why I am even bothering!
  2. Guidelines are guidelines. The SFA exercises it's discretion in light of the facts before it. The examples in the guidelines are illustrative only. One of the facts before the SFA will be that he is able to be a company director in South Africa, the jurisdiction in which the tax related offences took place. Only an idiot would think that's not one of the relevant factors the SFA will consider.
  3. Haha, embarrassing stuff, but amusing nonetheless.
  4. Haha I knew someone would bite at that. Someone with a sense of humour bypass that is.
  5. Yes, they had to pay all football debts. Peculiar question. Great to see the team working hard again. Hearts weren't allowed much time on the ball in dangerous areas of the pitch. Law looked like a different player - played very intelligently. Murdoch is a real bonus for us. Clark and miller worked their socks off. Wallace was a constant threat first half. Promising stuff but we need to put a run together to try to secure second and take that form into the playoffs.
  6. Very harsh booking for bell there! Interesting sub by McCall. Bit of faith in younger players...
  7. 2-0 good finish by vuckic there. Rangers pressing hearts well.
  8. It's a bit early for the I told you sos that you and many others seem so eager to unload. The previous board did so badly that the auditors resigned! I would much rather the current board including king than the last lot.
  9. No need to exaggerate the new boards actions. Deloitte resigned as auditors while the old board was in charge. The nomad that was in place was clearly incompetent given the goings on at the company on their watch. They were clearly in the old boards pocket so I don't buy this nonsense that they resigned out of principle or concerns about the new board.
  10. Surely king would have been aware of these issues when he made his statement regarding the nomad though?
  11. There's no doubt that losing the AIM listing is a big blow to the credibility of the new board. The board statement doesn't clearly state that, at the time of kings statement, a nomad had agreed to be appointed subject to further due diligence. Would like the board to clarify this. I don't think the consequences are the end of the world but it obviously makes the shares less accessible. In some respects, this may be good I suppose.
  12. That was me and I referred to the period up until the agm. If you had bought shares you would have made over 10% profit from my post until the agm.
  13. Rangers have to pay Newcastle 500,000 pounds if they get promoted because they loaned the 5 players from Newcastle!! Yet some on here insist Ashley is a good option!
  14. Interim results for the six month period to 31 December 2014. Very lengthy document available on LSE website. Not audited by Deloitte (or at all) who resigned as auditors after the 30 June 2014 audit apparently.
  15. You can't blame the board for the previous issues with the nomads. I don't think it will be as simple as thplinths explanation that the shares are just worthless. It may be difficult to have the company re listed but I would be very surprised if there is not a mechanism to do so. Essentially, it seems that, if that does not occur, it's just like having shares in a company that is not publicly listed.
  16. Apparently, Rangers have until Saturday to have their suspension of shares lifted under AIM rules (30 days). Bit concerning that this is taking so long - don't think it can be a good sign.
  17. Did the snp not agree to the adjective "decisive" with respect to the result prior to the referendum ?
  18. It's a bit simplistic to say that people born in the rest of the UK have chosen to live here and are not Scottish. There will be plenty of people born in the rest of the UK who at the time of birth would have classified themselves Scottish and then moved to Scotland in later life. And vice versa.
  19. Well I'm sure the compliance officer will apply the "squirrelhumper subjective test" when he prosecutes Guidetti.Daft thing for Guidetti to sing - obviously Celtic will defend it, but given their previous for defending pretty much everything that doesn't really shed any light on their prospects. Difficult for SFA to ignore this given the views of the likes of NBM on the word. I think the word is used differently by different supporters which is evident in this thread.
  20. Haha those last two sentences patronising much? As for deila, how does Celtics points tally this season compare to previous seasons? I would think it would be a fair bit lower.
  21. Agreed - it's a bonus if your manager does a good job and he happens to be a club legend. It was a factor in his appointment though and I understand why the board made it a factor. Aside from that, there were very few potential candidates for the job.
