  1. Wahaaay just like levein. Give him enough time to ensure we can't qualify then sack him. Clueless.
  2. Agreed, Griffiths is more than capable of running about like a headless chicken. One that can score too.
  3. You've not seen many fans if you think Scotland fans are the best. Big in number away from home maybe but that's about it.
  4. In his late 60s, manger of the biggest club in the world and you wonder why he turned down the chance to take on an additional job on a part time basis? Heart attack waiting to happen.
  5. He's delusional. Bitter little man who thinks he's clever.
  6. I stopped at point 1 as it's utter guff. Scotland manager Alex McLeish named a 25-man squad on Tuesday for the Euro 2008 Group B qualifiers against Lithuania and France next month. Squad: Goalkeepers: Craig Gordon (Sunderland), David Marshall (Norwich City), Allan McGregor (Rangers) Defenders: Graham Alexander (Preston), Russell Anderson (Sunderland), Gary Caldwell (Celtic), Alan Hutton (Rangers), Jay McEveley (Derby County), Stephen McManus (Celtic), Gary Naysmith (Sheffield United), David Weir (Rangers). Midfielders: Scott Brown (Celtic), Barry Ferguson (Rangers), Darren Fletcher (Manchester United), Paul Hartley (Celtic), Lee McCulloch (Rangers), Stephen Pearson (Derby County), Barry Robson (Dundee United), Gary Teale (Derby County). Forwards: Craig Beattie (West Brom), Kris Boyd (Rangers), James McFadden (Everton), Shaun Maloney (Aston Villa), Kenny Miller (Celtic), Garry O'Connor (Birmingham City).
  7. This is very much true. I go to probably 35+ Killie games a season, only really miss games due to holidays or weddings etc. Most of my mates are the same. A lot of them are cutting back on Scotland games but still following Killie regularly. Season ticket for Killie was £280 if bought early which is decent enough value over 19 games. Compare that to the SFA season tickets! If that's not a warning sign to the SFA then nothing will be!
  8. Maybe they have zero confidence in the SFA appointing somebody capable of getting the best of the squad? PS - Many games do you go to?
  9. I'm feeling the same just now. I can handle failure/bad results (i watch Killie every week!) but Scotland games have become a chore. Never thought i'd say that 5 or 6 years ago.
  10. I'd have booed out them too, mind folk moaning in Oslo when we were booing them after getting pumped 4-0. Couldn't make it up.
  11. To be fair he did well to get to the stage that game was even meaningful.
  12. If you are going to try and be clever with facts, at least get them right. Smith had one game against Georgia and won.
  13. Eh? Folk think he's unfairly treated. Start him against sh1te like Gibraltar and Malta and he'd have more goals than superstar Martin.
  14. There you go again, 9 games. How many starts. You can twist facts to suit your agenda pretty well, i'll give you that.
  15. Biggest smart on here is you, it's your opinion or nothing else. Always the same, no matter the subject. You just try to bore folk into submission by posting the same guff each post until folk stop arguing with you. You totally dismiss the fact that a competent manager is a huge contributor to the performances of the side. Look at Man Utd since Ferguson left as an example, NI under MON, Wales under Coleman. Nobody is saying we've an amazing squad but they are severely hamstrung by the manager at present. P.S Haven't seen many slagging Snoddy, well apart from the NI fan above.
  16. We never had 6 poor ones, you are just being obtuse for the sake of it. We missed out in 2008 by a bawhair and in a group that included the world cup winners, runners up and quarter finalists. Smith and McLeish weren't bad appointments. Berti got us to a play off and got beaten (soundly) by a brilliant Dutch side. He was terribly treated by the press. The other 3 were useless. Northern Ireland, Iceland, Ireland, Wales et al have squads made up of championship players (and worse) and lower end EPL players yet still have qualified whilst we haven't. All have competent managers though, we don;t.
  17. Aye, he is a bit of a ##### but i agree with him here.
  18. You were probably one of the clowns who cheered Strachan in Faro and got us landed with him for another failed campaign. Imagine applauding that sh1te last night, need your head looked at!
  19. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/celtic-chief-peter-lawwell-among-9027258 Dodgy schemes to avoid paying tax on wages, where have i seen this before?
