  2. Jim, many thanks for your concerns mate, well appreciated. I was there that long my battery on my phone died and then I got worried. The save my arse story will be raised another time
  3. I think you'll find that reading your iPhone is cool in comparison to reading a , exscuse the pun, reading a big standard paper
  4. You my friend, have far too much common sense and brains for this board
  5. Laughed myself wet ! Sides were aching for days after that night !
  6. You stated that fans celebrate failure and accept it. What extensive experience do you have following Scotland makes you able to quote that ? People react to defeat differently but that doesn't mean those who display a sense of humour amongst themselves don't take the defeat personally. Where did I quote that it was being sung to opposition fans ? For your information, it was sang in a pub by Scotland fans having a laugh, amongst ourselves. Some call it banter and good natured fun, it is not an acceptance to defeat and failure by any means. We are all upset at defeat, and a sad fact is that we are used to being let down more often than not in recent years, but people deal with it in different ways. We as fans can't change the result but we can deal with the aftermath in the local pubs and streets.
  7. Valid point made but having a sense of humour is hardly not being a loyal supporter. What do you suggest supporters should do after the game ? I'm intrigued to know what you suggest as I find after having followed Scotland for a number of years, humour amongst friends after the match whilst discussing the positives and negatives is better than other ways of dealing with defeat or other negative factors.
  8. Why ? By having a laugh with friends at our own expense ? What should we have done ? Started hitting innocents and wrecking the place ? It wasn't at the game so highly doubt it would have affected the players.
  9. well said ! That'll be us on the list now, don't worry about it, you'll receive a few posts about 'the famous' and a photo of Jimmy Calderwood.
  10. If your sat on the cludgie and you've run out of toilet roll with nobody in the house, what's your best options ?
  11. It could be a singing section without the Ultras element to it ?
  12. Heard there will be loads of Tayside Indestructible Terror Squad out for Wembley.
  13. I already have my Wembley point, all top fans get priority.
  14. I think it's a good idea but like it's been said, there are too many supporters who think they are running the TA and have way too high a personal opinion of themselves and self importance. The song list with the exception of the odd one or two is dire. I've said on a few occasions that certain 'club' songs could easily be adapted to Scotland but because (*insert club) sing it, then I'm not. The idea of a singing section is a good idea as they atmosphere like the team in recent years, is well, crap to say the least. I don't think it would happen which is a pity as the 12th man is needing to improve as much as the team does.
  15. Was that in the wee boozer in an alley around the corner from the Scottish and Irish bar ? The one with the gorgeous barmaids ? We heard that in a wee bar in Trvana and carried on singing it for the rest of the trip, cracking wee ditty ! I thought the " you only scored 3, you only scored 3, how sh*t must you be, you only scored 3 " chant was amusing
  16. Should see me when we start singing doe a deer or we'll be coming
