I had put d.mackay in team 2 ... i didn't know jim bett and d.hutchison thanks i will do some research on him 🙂 for gilzean and st john I knew them but I chose other players in attack. i know e.gray was fabulous but there were a lot of good players on the left side :"baxter / liddell / morton / cooper / mcphail" I was talking about alex raisbeck defender of liverpool yes yes you are right I sort out names like that at random, after reading stuff about them on the internet but difficult to be objective and to know who was better ... that's why I asked for information here because I have no Scottish football culture and it's hard to learn or find people to educate me. moreover, i speak and understand english very poorly I won't bother you any more and I will let you focus on the euro. good luck everyone I apologize once again for the inconvenience caused and I sincerely thank those who answered me ... sorry this was not from a bad intention at the start :-(

Hello , I'm french I have been interested in the history of Scottish football for a very short time. I had fun putting together teams with the best Scottish players of the 20th century. I tried to make teams balanced by trying to respect the positions of the players as much as I could. I took into account the value of players in general and NOT ONLY in the national team (see R.Yeats very strong with liverpool but who played very little with the selection) Team 1 is my best team 2 my second best and so on ... I didn't take players like Dailly / Macnamara who played too much in the 21st century or Mcmahon/Drummond who played a lot in the 19th century. It was EXTREMELY hard to classify the players because I do not have enough Scottish football culture and very hard to compare the eras ... Please give me your advice ...
