I take it when you're up at 50,000 feet in a plane and you look at the window at the curvature of the horizon its just the refractive qualities of the window? Probably deliberately manufactured out of lens shaped glass specifically to create the illusion of a curved earth... Bl**dy clever these satanists. Its funny though. If you're on a beach with a vast horizon you can actually see the curvature too. I know its not the edge because the oil rigs are further out...

Wasn't unusual in Lewis. There was a very strong tradition of naming children after previous generations to the point where it all got a bit silly. Girls called Kenina and Donalda and Ronaldina for instance, named after uncles or fathers or grandfathers called Kenneth, Donald and Rodderick. This usually happened when the hoped for sons never arrived and eventually girls had to be given the names. But apart from that my grandfather had two sisters called Effie and another two sisters called Margaret. Named after different Effies and Margarets of course.
