  1. Time will tell mate. We can re-visit in January. That should give you time to work out an excuse as to why I was right........
  2. That's not a fact mate. Ffs do we need to explain the difference between 'opinion' and 'fact' every single season? Anyway, when did I say I was basing it on one game? 'over the course of a season' is what I said.
  3. He also said. 'he had a right to stand his ground' after Brown played the plastic Hardman and barged into Watt. You wonder what planet some of them are on.
  4. That makes no sense. The first one was never a penalty.
  5. Sviatchenko? Seems decent on the ball Which might compliment him. Rangers will be second. Hearts did well today but I think most of us would expect that, given the high profile fixture and the bad blood between the teams. One off games anyone can compete in our league but over the course of a season there are a rarely surprises. Aberdeen and Hearts are in a position where they rely far too heavily on their first XI. Rangers will be second for that reason imo.
  6. Have to agree, didn't look a lot in it for me. In what way did you dominate? Deserved a draw maybe but dominated? Agree about the Jambos front line, they were very good. Not a chance they will finish second though. Toure already looks a decent signing for you.
  7. Must admit I wasnt convinced of that one . Has Toure been booked?
  8. Aye was just about to add that he's been inconsistent. That one with Brown in first half was ridiculous. 5 of the 6 Jambos cards are correct for me though.
  9. Cant say I agree. The number of fouls has nothing to do with it. it's a bit like a defender clattering a Striker in the first minute and arguing they should get away with it because 'its their first foul '.
  10. Armstrong was in the 'keepers line of vision, and was offside. 6 Hearts players now booked. Only Watt could count himself a bit unlucky imo.
  11. Haha very good sir. 5 is actually the lowest I've ever been so I'm quite chuffed. It's amazing how few people know how the system is supposed to work (obviously myself included). Did speak to a couple of lads that confirmed everything you said so all's well. It's a good thing I'm honest btw, the guy organising the comp didn't sound like he was bothered his arse one way or the other. Makes you wonder just how many guys are playing off incorrect handicaps?
  12. Andy Walker's wisdom on it is good. 'its awright to cheat because they managed to score a goal from it, plus I used to do it too'. Least he is honest I suppose.
  13. Ffs safe to say no one will be moaning about Celtic's opener now. Jamie Walker has cheated there, no other word for it. 1-1.
  14. Bloody hell. I doubt we'll see a worse miss the rest of the season, than that of TWatt's just now.
  15. Celtic lead at Tynecastle. Great finish from Forrest but defenitely a case to be made that it should have been chalked off for offside. Celtic will argue it could also have Been a penalty though. Hearts have started brightly. Sammon is looking a handful. Two Jambos booked already. Shock.:)
  16. In that half hour that I seen, Aberdeen probably edged the balance of play without really threatening too much. Good tempo to it, tackles were flying in. Shinnie impresses me any time I watch him. Craig looked pretty assured for Saints.
  17. Aye I quite enjoy the lower league stuff too. (should be used to it eh ) Sauchie Jnrs ground is a two minute walk from me so I get over to watch them a few times a season, although granted they werent great last term. Aye, I'm the same. As said above I always liked Man Utd so I'll maybe watch one or two of their games this season, but that will be about it. I've only seen this from 60 minutes but its been decent. Good tempo and tackles flying in. Dunno how Stockley escaped a card a few minutes ago. Looks a very healthy traveling support.
  18. Outwith your own club I mean. I know it's a debate that pops up on here regularly so would be interested to hear what games we are all taking in. Might also give me a few ideas as this new box I have seems to have access to every sports channel known to man. Must admit I used to be a bit of a Sky Sports/EPL whore, watching live matches every week and then Motd on a Saturday night, but lost interest a few years back. The so called 'big' games bore me to tears now. Its like everyone is terrified of making a mistake. Last season, save the odd occasion, I just watched the goals on a Monday that had been recorded. I think Mourihno and Guardiola going down there will Spike my interest a bit, be good to see Man Utd back competing i suppose, always liked watching them in my youth. Same with the Champions League, I think the first game I watched last season was Chelsea - PSG which was the quarter final I think? I'll probably watch the Tims games if they get there this term. Odd occasion I'll watch a Derby game from Spain or the English Championship. Last season the most footballI i watched, outwith Rangers was the Scottish Prem and Chamionship. The first 3 Dundee derby's probably stand out for entertainment value, as do A couple of Aberdeen - Hearts games and the Edinburgh derby's (particularly the one at Tynecastle) Must admit I'm looking forward to both leagues again this season, should be some crackers.
  19. I suspect, like many Hibs fans, he probably thinks Cummings is over rated and that £1.5m is a great price for him?
  20. The 'likes' of me. Got that handicap issue sorted out btw mate, many thanks, I'll report back to you with my winnings in due course
  21. Header down into the corner that he tipped round. He was right to go ballistic, Keirnan, he went into the challenge in a terrible fashion.
