I must admit that I love going there on match days. ...It's not so much about the place but the people. ..Great meeting all your Tartan Army friend's there before the game....Great atmosphere also... There is a bit of history about the place too..going back to Buffalo Bill and Sitting Bill dining upstairs when the Wild West show came to Glasgow. .It also was The Empire Bar as it was next door to the famous Glasgow Empire theatre and Stars like Frank Sinatra would pop in for a drink between shows. ...

On match day we were sitting in the iron horse at the window when two coach loads of German fans arrived and they all piled in upstairs and downstairs and the basement were all full and we had a great day..

Got to book months in advance for food table at a big game...but good pub and atmosphere..

Yea, a crowd of us are staying at the Jacobs inn hostel...I mean...what could possibly go wrong.....

I think we will go for the Iron Horse bus there and back next time..always the worst time of the day getting back after the game...usually knackered by that time....especially if we start at 9am...

Noticed the north stand entrance has all been done up...for the Commonwealth Games...might be some differences inside also..Think it re-opens to football in January....looking forward to March...

Never seen Ted Christopher before...so should be good..have seen Tartan Specials and I like them, although some songs are a bit dull... and that DJ guy..what can I say...he is the best Tartan Army dj I have heard....then again he is the only one I have heard...he he...

If I meet Helen in the Barrowlands I will hold out the right hand of friendship to her...and maybe buy her a drink....

Hope to get there for 10.. but also have a ticket for the Barrowlands party..so spoiled for choice...looking forward to making a "Day" of it...never been to Barrowlands before so will be different....

Glad that all fears for any kind of trouble at louden ibrox never materialised...it worked out great.... Never been in the duke st one....plans for ROI game are Iron Horse then the Barrowlands TA party...looking forward to it...

Was in the Louden before and after game and was great to see it packed with TA punters all singing along to the TA tunes enjoying themselves

Do remember Celtic fans having a ice cream and jelly parties when Rangers were going bust...maybe an Irish thing.. No doubt there will be a lot of irish fans with celtic tops on...As a rangers fan it dos'nt bother me...just part of football banter...all good fun.....
