  1. Gibraltar had only about 2000 v Poland , 700 v Georgia, 7000 v Germany so id imagine if Scotlaland need up to 15k tickets it wont be a problem, think the stadium holds about 30k
  2. last orders in slatterys is about 12.30 / 01.00 on a Friday night, get a long if you can.
  3. If you leave at the full time whistle, your looking at about 15 minutes to exit stadium and about another 5 minute walk to a taxi rank. About a 35 minute drive in traffic to the airport. If you leave 10 minutes before full time about 5 minutes to leave stadium and 5 minute walk to taxi rank and about a 25 minute drive to Dublin airport.
  4. Abbey travel are the official travel agent to the fai. Genuine site you will have no worries
  5. What happened with our poland home game was all season ticket holders got the opportunity to purchase 4 extra tickets, this left about 9,000 for general sale 5 weeks before kick off mind you a high percentage of those tickets were for premium level.
  6. Cork City have the largest home attendances in the league and have now signed ex celtic and HIBS midfielder Liam Miller, even though bray wouldn't be the biggest attractions, Cork has one of the best match day atmosphere in the league.
  7. imo there was a few thing the sfa could have done, * reduced ticket prices to ensure Scottish fans bought home end tickets and not having them go on general sale. * increased away allocation to ensure the game sold out without selling reduced "restricted view " tickets to maximise matchday revenue.
  8. Just some one had it posted on www.ybig.ie forums, may or may not be true mind ya
  9. I honestly think ye will get a large allocation for dublin. I'd say about 6500.
  10. Well the SFA have confirmed that they have sold 7000 home tickets to irish addresses so add the official 3200 away tickets plus the ones posted to the Irish living in the UK it should make for a cracking atmosphere
  11. A boring 0-0 draw. Think ireland are well set up for getting draws away from home the issue will be at home to see if ireland have the ability to open up sides.
  12. Just wondering I presume there is a large polish population in Scotland ye could very well be in the same situation then as will ourselves when we host the Poles
  13. We had a minimum application for 10k tickets, we will have 3200 in the allocated away section in the Lisbon lions section. Most people would have had their travel arangements made so I would imagine that it is not unreasonable to assume the other 6,700 will be scattered around the rest of the stadium. The only thing stopping more people traveling with tickets on general sale is the availability of centrally located accommodation at a reasonable price.
  14. I rang the ticket office and was assured that I would not be denied access to the seats I purchased in the Jock Stein stand due to me being an away supporter. Also police are treating this as a low key game with regards to security.
  15. Been there a couple of times, the euros in 2012 and last November for a friendly, plenty of decent pubs around the old town square, friendly spot about €15 in a cab from the Airport. Was too pissed to make it to any clubs. Strip club just off the square prices were high enough got chucked out for haggling too much. Was hoping Poland might play their game v us (ireland) in Poznan but looks like they will play them all in Warsaw
