Totally agree. I think you need to take out Gibraltar games results in general to get the big picture. Three points be great and almost assure us of at least a play off iam certain on that.

Feel that a draw would help Scotland obviously. As you said the head to head also keep up the momentum and a two point lead over Ireland being the most important factor with four games remaining or three if you discount Gibraltar game.

I believe the Irish fans are clutching at straws now knowing a defeat in three weeks almosts end there chances !! Agree with previous post 1 - 1 draw looks a good shout . Cant see us getting beat over there always fancied it even from the draw last year...

If I may add. Always thought the big games for us were, Germany away first game set out campaign. Ireland at home big playoff. Poland at home push for qualification. plus prob add Georgia away. In my opinion doing well so far.

Agreed this game against Qatar is more of build up game to get players fitness up and also access there fitness. And yes hopefully Gordon more than 90% sure of Eire side barring pull outs. Still maintain cant see us losing this game draw a serious possibility.
