  1. The photo with McLeish with pints in front of him funnily enough.
  2. Cool so we agree I didn't say that. Cheers.
  3. Aye whatever boss. I never once said he was an alky. You just keep making it up to suit your agenda
  4. "Bile" "hateful" lol you're a piece of work I've already said why I don't think he was the right appointment. Keep up the good work.
  5. But it's fine for you to cast aspersions that I "hate" him without a shred of evidence?
  6. I'm glad it meets with your approval I'll keep my counsel on the rest.
  7. And where did I say he was stinking of booze?
  8. Where did I say he attended a job interview drunk? I said he provided no evidence in his radio interview that he had ideas to progress us.
  9. I don't hate him. I've met him a number of times since we first stayed at the Hotel Sport in Tallinn in 96. He was coaching the 21s then. I've since got him to sign a photo of the pair of us together since then. A photo that appeared in a TA book. Both my sons have signed footballs from him. I have a lot of time for him. I just do not think he is the guy to take us forward but I'll still be hoping he does.
  10. Aye whatever Judge Judy. Go and point out where I said he was an alcoholic while you're at it.
  11. I absolutely want McLeish to be a success but hearing him recently I'm surprised he passed an interview. On Friday he couldn't offer any suggestions of how he's improved as a manager (other than being older and more experienced) or any plans as to how he'd take us forward. Of the three on the selection panel one is an old mate who chaired his testimonial committee and another is responsible for managerial masterstroke appointments such as Pat Fenlon, Terry Butcher and Colin Calderwood. As for any personal issues we'll see if anything comes out but he has a lot of cheerleaders in the media who will keep it on the QT. I know what I know and will leave it at that.
  12. Just saying that from the survey of 6000 which is a large proportion survey wise that was the club team with the largest support. I'm far from a defender of either Celtic or Rangers (no pun intended), just making an observation.
  13. Have a listen to him on sportsound last Friday. The podcast will be available.
  14. Why do you keep showing your personal prejudices and trying to associate them with others? Some people just don't think McLeish is good enough for managing at international level anymore. Can't you just let them be entitled to their view and respect that?
  15. I can't imagine him singing the anthem as he doesn't want Scotland to be a nation again.
  16. The SSC survey (over 6000 responses) showed Rangers fans as the largest group of Scotland followers. Aberdeen second and Celtic third.
  17. An appropriate metaphor for the new manager and bevvy.
  18. I couldn't care less about any club association. He's a busted flush. Apparently on the bevvy as sounds plausible from hearing him speak. He's been unemployed for a reason. And i wouldn't trust Macrae and Petrie to hire a cleaner far less an international manager.
  19. He sounded blootered on sportsound on Friday.
  20. The Scottish cringe is strong with you.
  21. Why shouldn't we show ambition to get a Bilic or an Olsen or a Koeman (before he took up his new job)? Our lazy board likely never approached them. While we can't necessarily offer them a massive basic wage we can make that up by loading bonuses for qualification. If you don't ask you don't get. Appointing Scottish managers has failed for 20 years. I hope he does well but given who has appointed him I won't hold my breath. McLeish was great 11 years ago but he's been out of work recently for a reason.
  22. Hitting the bevvy apparently. Or it may be dementia setting in. Completely uninspired appointment by Petrie. On the plus side if this no-voting prick fails (again) then it's another dagger into the blazers.
