  1. Sept 8th Sept 12th Georgia v Spain Norway v Georgia Cyprus v Scotland Cyprus v Spain (Scotland v England) IF Spain beat Georgia and we beat Cyprus (likely) that would put us 11pts ahead of both Norway and Georgia. (us on 15, them both on 4pts with 4 games to go) They play eachother the same time that we play England on the 12th Sept, if they were to draw that game we'd qualify that night as they'd both be left 10pts behind us with 3 games to go... Could be an interesting evening at the world's oldest international fitba stadium...
  2. This now becomes our most important game. I felt Gordon's change of plan meant we lost 2 pts on Saturday because I genuinely believe we're a better team than them. Forget the 2 big homies for just now. We need 3 points against Georgia to claw back the advantage one or both (if a draw) Germany and Poland have over us as they play that night. Excited doesn't cover it but full of trepidation for this game, much more so than Saturday. Don't think a draw against Georgia will be enough
  3. Stephen Gallacher got to finish joint 2nd (or better) in the Italian open to qualify for the European team. After 6 holes in the final round he's sitting 2nd, one ahead of 3rd (another Scot, Richie Ramsay) and 3 of the lead. Go on Stephen, ensure there's a Scot playing at Gleneagles!!
