Same, flying out on the Friday and back on Sunday. Austria Air pride themselves on the quick turnaround from one flight to another. It’s one of their selling points.

I'm out on Thursday back on Monday - 25 min turnaround in Vienna - but since its both their flights its up to them.

I've just booked as last minute decision. No cheap but really good connection times but this is from Heathrow - flying Austrian on the Thursday (but think Friday available too times)  - Heathrow (9.05 - Vienna 12.20 leave 12.50 Podgorica 14.25) - I think half hour change is OK as all Austrian so I think they hold the flight.  Way back Monday Podgrica 15.00 Vienna 16.40 17.15 arrive Heathrow 18.40. I think Pod much better than Tirana as there's a bus that takes 1 hour 10 and I think it's an hour by taxi. Anyone else arriving Podgrica Thursday ?

Im on the same Austrian airlines flights from London to Vienna and Vienna to London. But im flying to and from Tirana. Booked last January for 140 quid return.

  3. Trump was very quick with attacking Turkey for holding Americans in prison  - he seems to be completely fucked with the assassination of Khashoggi. Comical they way he is reacting(shitting himself) to the Saudi situation. I'm guessing the Saudis get away with no repercussions much the same as any Israeli govt does. Money talks.

I'm in Athens on the Thurs before Albania game. What's the pubs like. I'm in centre hotel which I think is in the centre🤔. Is the Scottish bar quite central. Would like to try 2 or 3 bars at least.not there long enough for sightseeing.

I went to the Scottish bar the Wee Dram both nights I was there. Its about 3 stops on the metro from Syntagma Square on the blue line back towards the airport. Get off at Ponormou then its about 200 yards up the hill. The owner Ross is Scottish- when I went in there's no other Scots around but since I had my Scotland shirt on he came up and said hello. Good music and excellent choice of beer. The sports bar was good as well - its near Acropolis metro station. I looked in the Irish bar near Monastiriki Square but was a bit busy. I was on my own so didn't fancy going in a Greek bar or restaurant type bar.

  5. Had a great time in Athens. Best idea to get a three day tourist travel pass for 22 euros since a single trip to or from the airport is 10 euros anyway. Went to Piraeus and did a ferry trip to Aegina. Back in Athens ..wasnt pariculary keen on the city..walked round the base of the Parthenon etc and there is a viewing poimt over Athens..but big queue and steep walk to go up to historical site so didnt bother. Went to Scottish bar the Wee Dram both nights..great beer..and the Sports Bar was good as well.

  6. I bought the 1 day bus pass ..walked around a bit although its very easy to get lost in the mass of alleyways..went down grand canal on the number 2 ..ferry to Lido..then jimped on the ferry that goes round the outside of venice. The Irish pub had Scotland Portugal game on..eventually got the waterbus back up to my hotel later at night from St Marks square to Plaza Roma. Absolutely loved Venice.

I’m the same - Sunday and Monday night. Staying 2 mins from Blue Mosque.

I stayed near there on way to Georgia last time - Sultanahmet - but I'm near Taksim Square this time. Its an amazing city if you haven't been before. I'm travelling Billy Nomates - meeting my mates Tuesday in Tel Aviv - if you fancy a beer any of the nights - its no bother travelling anywhere in the centre including Sultanahmet

  8. Just coming up for my third year in a row playing over 100 different courses each year. Currently at 92. Probs have to wait till after the Israel trip for my 100th. Looking at different options..the 2 Macrahinish courses...abersoch and royal st davids at harlech ..close house near Newcastle or if my mate is able to come along go to Scarborough and Filey as we both worked at Butlins Filey in 1979. Loved Scarborough South Cliff golf course.

  9. Apart from travelling to Haifa for the game, I'm just staying in Tel Aviv for 3 nights - doing my touristy stuff in other places on way there and back (Istanbul, Athens and Venice) so treating Israel as a bit of a beach holiday. Been reading about the "Bracelet" bars where you can drink as much as you like after buying bracelet for approx. price of a couple of drinks and some having happy hours. Anyone got experience of Tel Aviv at night time.

Just kidding.   Actually, last time I was in Paris the Seine's banks were flooded.    Cranes were hauling the wee bars and shops out of the water and folk couldn't get to the bateau mouches due to the gangplanks being under water.

Last time I stayed there on way back from game in Metz  was the same time when banks were flooded. The time I had the wine was my first Scotland away match with the Faddy goal. Had 2 bottles of Chablis watching the boats go by and then on to the Rugby World Cup village -great night there.

Are you in Venice for a night? Venice is best at night. When all the day trip and cruise ship people have gone. You can saunter freely, get lost up backstreets. Wander up to Cannaregio for a bit less tourist restaurants and ciccetti bars.

During the day a wander about, soaking in the Grand Canal, seeing the Rialto, Piazza San Marco, etc, followed by buying a bottle of wine/beer from the supermarket and finding a quiet spot next to the grand canal to perch yourself and watch the world go buy. THAT, is difficult to beat for a day trip IMO.

    Great place.

I'm in Venice from Sunday lunchtime till flying to London on Monday morning. I'm liking your thinking - did the wine thing in Paris - couple of bottles of Chablis sittign on banks of the Seine.

  12. Egotistical wanker pays a fortune to take to court on a technicality when he was doing 59 in a 40 mph area. Done the same in 1999 when he got off by making excuse he was chased by papparazi. This man is a dangerous khunt behind the wheel as well as being an obnoxious khunt in general. I bet its no the only thing hes paid to diappear. Wheres the burdz ? Fucking hate the cunt with a passion.

  13. I'm baffled by all the furore on this subject. In all my days both in Scotland and in England - Ive never come across a single instance of this either in the workplace or in public. it seems to me its purely manufactured by the Establishment to get rid of Corbyn. I'm not a Labour voter (would vote SNP but not able to in England) but Corbyn seems to be threat to the supposed order in England. (id agree totally with his ideas on a much fairer tax system - there would be no austerity if tax was addressed with the same zeal that this government attacks benefits.).

This supposed international holocaust definition of Anti-Semitism seems to overlap with criticism of the Israeli government. For me many in the Labour Party and other parties have criticised the Israeli government and espoused the cause of Palastine - but the media seem to like to address that as anti-Semitism. The BBC politically seem to support the Israeli government in its news coverage on the Middle East with the same neutrality as it covers the SNP and Scottish Independence. But the BBC is also hugely anti -Jeremy Corbyn especially with the venom from its political editor Kuenssberg. So its seems very convenient to attack Corbyn with the anti-Semitism allegations - and also give huge coverage to the Blairites who are also jumping on the bandwagon - vis a vis that arsehole Frank Field and similarly David Blunkett (pair of kunts).

  14. Stayed here for a night on a round Wales golf trip. what a brilliant place..scenery outstanding ..great pubs ..in fact most of the area around the Menai Straits looks really good.

If you are a slow player you might want to think about getting your finger out if you don't want to suffer serious repercussions.

    http://www.golfwrx.com/525778/new-details-in-the-case-of-the-golfer-who-allegedly-bit-off-another-golfers-finger/

I play a lot of golf Billy Nomates going round different courses - had 5 or 6 arguments over the last three years. 99 per cent of folk are only too keen to let you play through (as I am with anyone playing faster behind me) - but the main culprits are elderly men who still think that the "single player has no standing on the course".  Never got involved in any violence though and stick to picking on folk who are smaller than me
