Yeah you replied to one of his posts a few pages back.

    Each to their own.

I think I quoted him rathe than reply direct. But if Ive been a long term user of the board and thinking of chucking it or certainly logging in far less then  I'm sure I'm not the only one. Up to those running the board - if they allow that sort of shyte to spoil it - then it will ultimately disappear.

And you’re feeding him by replying to his posts.

Having a different opinion isn’t necessarily trolling

The ignore function is a wonderful creation if you use it.

As far as I'm aware Ive not replied to any of his posts. Its either trolling or bombarding the board with shyte no matter what his opinion is. I can choose to ignore or I can choose to use the board far less as it tanks downhill - which is a shame as its very useful particularly to do with travel to away games.

  3. Years ago on the world cup panels ..got the usual yes men but then there was Jock Wallace and Jack. Charlton both of whom just called it as it was. Im sure Roy Keane isnt particularly nice but he also not afraid to get stuck in. I love listening to the guys on Off the Ball when Im back up in Scotland ..but here in England 2 of the biggest wankstains on Talksport..Jim Whyte and Alan Brazil.

An absolute gentleman who always had time for the fans.

Half a dozen of us were in the team hotel bar in Zagreb in 1989 (Yugoslavia then) around midnight and Billy was having a drink on his own. He was co-commentator with STV for the game the following night.

There was no-one else in the bar and after a wee discussion among ourselves - none of whom incidentally were Celtic fans - we decided to respect his privacy and not pester him for photographs etc,.

Within a couple of minutes he came over with a friendly smile and introduced himself with "Is this the troops?" He was then quite happy to chat with us and pose for those pictures.

From what I gather he was like this all the time.

The respect that he and John Greig had for each other when rivals both as Old Firm captains and managers is from an age gone by, a respect which no longer exists.

A true gentleman and legend of Scottish football.

    RIP big man

Great story ..just adds to what anyone who met him has said. Even though there will be tributes galore at Celtic..he must be remembered at tje Scotland Cyprus game.

    Really?

Pretty much his first pass he almost set up a goal. Look back at it.

Rose tinted glasses? I have no agenda. I will say this, though, when Forrest, Christie, McGregor came up against PSG they were found out to be average.

McTominay? He nullified Verratti for 90 minutes. And I'd say that PSG had as much of the ball against Manchester United as they did against Celtic, so you can't say that "Manchester United are a better team than Celtic", as PSG had about 75% possession against United.

    So, "useless"? Hardly.

You just talk constant shyte on here - I said all the team were pish on the day - the team they were playing were fucking dross. Stick to the subject and stop havering you clown.

Sometimes it’s hard to break down a stuffy team.    The san Marino game is not the issue by a long shot.   It’s the 1st game and the manner which we lose that is the big problem.

Granted the same crappy team struggled in San Marino but they managed to get the job done.

You must be fucking deluded. The whole game was shyte beyond belief.

    Thank you!

When McTominay came on he showed himself to be vastly above then other midfielders, his touch, passing, speed of thought was above everyone else on our team. Meanwhile McGregor was constantly spraying balls out of touch.

The midfield should be built around Scott McTominay, the fact that he was on the bench for the two matches shows that McLeish really has lost his marbles.

Utter pish - he was every bit as useless on the day as the rest of the team -  take the rose tinted glasses off and get real.

I seem to remember that you were in my company when he was sitting next us outside a bar in Tbilisi.

I couldn't remember where it was we were chatting - remember chatting with you though = it was occasion where I was talking to Ian and somebody had pointed out he was an MP. I was touring round Scotland playing golf last year and went for lunch in Portree - SNP stall in the square - he was well liked by the constituency workers.

I liked it too. Our support need fresh songs after years of we'll be coming and doh a deer

Heard a few versions of lyrics that Napoli tune that every club in the UK seem to have their own version of too.

Don't care if it is just generic tunes, we need more of a variety. I'm guessing the OP is one of the old school mob who doesn't like change and looks down at the young team because he's been to more games than them. What song did you start that was better then? I'd like to hear it and learn it for next time

I cant start songs on my own  -it needs a big group. Personally Id love a version of sweet caroline - with Oh  bonny Scotland instead of sweet caroline. I'm quite happy with "Its the Scotland boys making all the noise" but the Mctominey one  - its no the tune its "I love you till my heart aches"   aye right fuck off with that one.

Who gave this Bercow geezer so much power? This shouldn't be down to him. Just another example of the nonsense Westminster system.

Will the EU just get totally pissed off with this? Leaving the only two options of no deal or revoke article 50?

All those that agree with Orraloon say aye. And the nos ...naw. DIVISION....clear the lobby.
