  1. People who add "going forward" to the end of a sentence. Like that person that interviews the athletes after a race on BBC.

Summarisers or commentators who denigrate lower league football during a cup tie. Scottish guy on Radio Lancashire last night during game between Havant and Preston - havant bloke misses a header - "Well that's non-league for you" - no it fooking isn't - anyone can miss a chance. Is he saying that league football everyone will score but if it is non-league he's going to miss it.

  2. Oh dear, I fear that.....we've only just begun

When did you post that ...Only Yesterday?

She had been mine for almost All of my life but when she snuffed it, I had to say Goodbye to love.

    Yesterday Once More?

Think I'm going mad - I can see a UFO outside ...calling occupants of Interplanetary Craft.

  3. Virtually every fooker in front of me in the queue for the cash machine. Whereas I just use the basic function of "give me some cash" - everyone else seems to want to use every bloody function available.

"Right - lets see how much my balance is"

"Oh good - I'll have 50 pounds please"

"Oh hang on - I forgot to get a receipt".

    "Oh there's the cash now".

"Wonder how much I have left - better check that balance".

"Mind you Ive had this PIN number for a bit too long - think I'll mebbies change it".

"Right - are there any buttons Ive no pressed yet"

"Oops forget to get my mum's money out - better do that as well - now where's her card?" - Repeat the above.

    "Ok that's me done"

Wee smile to the poor like me freezing his nuts off waiting.

  4. Considering all the stick they get..just a wee word of praise. Quite a fair number of Scottish guys on the flight and a few havin had a fair swallie. The chief stewardess just seemed to gauge the mood on the plane last night - typical scouser - she had some cracking lines on the tannoy. Considering a lot of cabin crew are humourless miserable bassas , last nights ones were excellent. Plenty of leg room on the plane - only complaint was no wee trumpet after landing they played some strange other tune.

  5. Belter of a trip. Shame my mate's bags never turned up for two days after he did .

Krakow first night - joined Wanderer's group in traditional Polish night - completely off the wall - entertainment a right laugh but the food .....

Four of us went round the corner in the main square afterwards to hear the strains of "Sweet Caroline from the Karaoke Bar and we were in like a shot. Some old guy with a long beard like ZZ top singing "Nessun Dorma" and nearly as good as Pavarotti himself. Bit of "Dignity" from friends and then did my own "Sweeet Caroline " with about ten backing singers on stage which was just as well as I'm crap.

Buffet car all the way down to Warsaw on train. Went to all three Ted gigs which were fantastic.

Somehow everywhere you go in Poland someone wants to offer you a vodka of some sort ..be rude not to.

Enjoyed Warsaw again but Krakow is immense.

  6. Id agree about the Millenium - my favourite - bears right down onto the pitch. I was also impressed by Old Trafford where Ive watched the rugby league final.

Have to say thought the Warsaw one from the outside is iconic . Stands out in view from Old Town and also from the top of the Ghostbusters building. Its right up there and one the Poles can be very proud of.

  7. Just about a mile or so away from my house. A few years ago it looked like an up and coming airport with ryanair flights. monarch and jet2. then they introduced a compulsory £10 charge to fly from there but offered free parking Ryanair and Monarch pulled out leaving what I think is just one jet2 plane flying in and out - its a small plane as well fro legroom - only flew once on it to Alicante for Scotland match. Crap airport but could have been good.
