Today is international women’s day, what a load of patronising pish. I have had an email from head office, we have to do something to celebrate this. If we get a photo of a woman eating a pie in the branch it would be great PR, it’s also national pie week. What a load of shite.

Email him back saying ‘ yeah no bother, Im away to take a half day as my period has started “

I see United have sold the GA arena  to one of their directors to generate working capital. Why didn't he just loan United the cash?

It was “ sold “ to the directors pension fund. It’s Thompson’s mate as well as a director and just a continuation of the ongoing asset stripping. Unless the fans foundation can take control United could be finished.

For me, in the defensive mid role, there's only really one.

Kevin McDonald. In the playoffs yet again with Fulham, big, pyhsical, decent with a ball at his feet and very rarely gives possession away.

The maybe list is headed by McTominay. I hope he picks us, but even if he does he'll likely be along side another defensive mid.
    For the rest:
Bridcutt - Can't get in a poor Forest team after returning from injury.
Jack - Don't trust his temperament still. Ok as a backup, backup right back i guess.
Shinnie - Still not sure he's international class.
Bannan - better further forward, like Cairney and Armstrong, in behind the strikers.
McGinn - Good, but not a holding mid for me, more box to box. Could play along side one maybe.
Coutts - Improved a lot, but not sure he's at the right level. Shame he'll miss the 4 friendlies.

Still think our best lineup is something like this (much as i'd like to crowbar Ryan Fraser in there somehow):

    Gordon
    Lindsey - Mulgrew - Tierney
    Paterson - McDonald - Armstrong - McTominay - Robertson
    Griffiths - McBurnie

Id certainly like to see Kev Macdonald given a chance in a few friendlies to see what he can do.

Not true. He's one of the top midfielders in Europe when it comes to retaining possession. Both at club (European) and internationl level.

Brown has been a good player for Scotland but that comment is a little ridiculous

Pish again, absolute fucking joke of a performance. Celtic defence and goalie and jittery at the moment, but we simply didn’t have the belief to go for it.

I’ve said it for over a year now, his time is up, time to move on and let us take the game to teams.

Special mention today to Scotland’s finest and the stewards for the most inept piece of security ever.

Some celtic fans were outed after the 1st goal, escorted from the area, where they decided that a wee bit of verbal to Aberdeen fans was safe to do now that they had protection. What they never banked on was them being walked past the Germans that were over for the game down one side, past a gate out to safety and right around the front of section Y, where it’s known to be a bit tougher than other areas of the stadium, to be met by about 70-80 casuals and be blocked in to the area. The standoff took a good few minutes to clear before they were taken down the front again, to their gratefulness as they were lucky to get out of the area alive.

I can only assume a few doors will be knocked on in the next few days and a heavy fine will be sent to Aberdeen.

Hmm. Thats probably the same visiting Germans that accompanied the Aberdeen Casuals to Tannadice a few years back and heroically wrecked a pub full of families and kids.

    Grown men as well. Wasters

I remember times walking away from McD and Celtic fans more often than not would give you a well done, congrats kind of stuff whereas Huns would be right nasty cunts about it. Just for the sake of being Huns too. Permanently raging.

Maybe Ive just been unlucky but ive encountered some absolute vermin amongst the Celtic fans in and around Tannadice,  debatable whether they are ‘worse’ or ‘better’ than the Huns. Probably comparing shades of shite so a bit of a waste of time. That said, I know a lot of good cunts on both sides also - :) despite their choice of team. Life is such.

I’m not sure how this result could do that.

Its funny how much a small amount of rangers fans hate Dundee United. We all know why too which makes it all the more pathetic 🤣🤣🤣

As I’ve said before, the only slight glimmer of satisfaction I get with our current shambles is the section of Rangers fans that cling on to this bizarre seethe and bitterness against us

I am amazed that some United fans seem to not grasp the seriousness of the situation. The Thompson selling Gussie Park announcement yesterday is way more damaging than losing to Livingston. Never mind Dundee in Adminstration or Rangers folding: United are genuinely heading for Third Lanark teritory.  Its amazing that the local media are failing to pick up on this blatant asset stripping..... or maybe not actually.
