  1. Exactly. I dont think enough was done at 1-0 or 2-0 down to save the game. If Scotland had got a goal back it would have gave us a boost and put England under some pressure
  2. I know it is too late now, but why when we were 1_0 and 2_0 down did Strachan not take on another striker (Martin or Fletcher). Surely there was nothing to lose by that time. Instead we get 2 midfield changes which did nothing to change the game. Also if we have one player who could have troubled England defence it was Burke but not sited. Even when we are playing at home it is one striker.
  3. If it goes horribly wrong on Friday and they do sack Strachan, though more likely he may walk, I would like to see Lambert as manager. Mcleish has a bad record recently at club level but was one of the best managers we have had in recent times. But lets see how Friday goes.....if we win then all this talk of new managers will soon stop.
  4. Just read Robert Snodgrass out for 6 weeks I know he never played well in the last game but would have had him in the team v England. Hope young Burke gets a chance now as I thought he was doing okay v Lithuania till he got subbed and his pace could upset English defence. Sometimes the final ball is not good but then you can say that for the rest of them
  5. Ha ha let's hope we are singing then
  6. As I said just what I was told without anything confirmed.
  7. I have some relatives down London way who were saying that Scottish fans are being kept in Wembley for at least 20 minutes after kick off. I assume this is to try and stop fans mixing. Anyone heard anything similar as going to be a nightmare getting the tube from Wembley as it is.
  8. And Montrose is full of good Boozers and places to eat out
  9. Just thought might be better than an English pub.......never mind looks like I am outnumbered
