  1. I've emailed again. Hopefully it arrives this time.
  2. šŸ¤£ Aye we're coining it in mate šŸ˜‚
  3. There will be loads of ways to get to the stadiums in all three host cities for our group stage matches. The official fan walk route that was offered by local police and host city staff in Stuttgart was approx 4.5 miles which we said was not feasible. With the Allianz Arena being so far out of the city centre in Munich there isn't a recognised fan walk route. We'll be marching to all the stadiums we play at - just as we have done for the venues we've played at in the past. We'll be coming..............
  4. Fair point but that's a slightly different topic. This survey is specific to the position that we find ourselves in now. There are a number of alternatives that have been suggested for the best way to do the play offs: - neutral venue for just the final - neutral venue for each semi and final - neutral venue for all three matches (and add in a 3rd 4th play off too) - draw lots between the four competing teams to see which one will host both semis and final - treat the final as a final with an equal split of tickets regardless of where it is - keep the current format but increase away ticket allocation much higher than 5% One thing that is clear here is that this way is not great for fans of a competing team that carry a large away support.
  5. The Association of Tartan Army Clubs (ATAC) have been discussing with the Scottish Football Association and Football Supporters Europe (FSE) the impact of the Euro 2020 Play Offs. The challenges of booking travel with 3 days notice or paying for two sets of flights when we might not need either. ATAC are trying to collect some actual facts to back up the concerns so they can be presented to FSE and potentially UEFA so lessons can be learned for the future. In order to do this we are asking supporters to complete a short survey https://www.associationoftartanarmyclubs.com/2020/03/06/play-off-survey/

  10. ATAC have produced a Visa Guide for the Euro 2020 Qualifiers Scotland are playing this year. This is mainly for the Russia game but it also contains information about the other destinations and Brexit. All information was correct at time of publication (3rd March 2019). Hopefully this is useful as all supporters will have to follow the same process. Thanks to Natasha and Agnessa at the Russian Visa Application Centre in Edinburgh for providing information for this guide. There will also be a Sporran Guide for Kazakhstan and San Marino published in the next week. http://www.associationoftartanarmyclubs.com/euro-2020-qualifiers-visa-guide/
  11. http://www.associationoftartanarmyclubs.com/2019/03/02/astana-match-day-buses/ The Association of Tartan Army Clubs (ATAC) have been liaising with the Embassy in Astana and the local Mayors office re transportation on match day in Kazakhstan. Whilst we recognise that local taxis are relatively inexpensive, we have also considered the number of folks trying to find their way back into the centre at 11.p.m. Accordingly the Mayor's office have agreed to provide a number of buses for Scottish supporters. The return trip has a cost we believe of less than Ā£1. ATAC have agreed that we will charge Ā£2 per person return with any surplus monies going to our friends at the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal - it will also cover any buses not running at capacity. Discussions with the Embassy are ongoing to identify a suitable location and departure time in the City Centre - those registering interest in the buses will be advised. Expectation is that this will be adjacent to the "Old Town" with bars and restaurants close by. As soon as we have nay further information we will publish it through here and in across our social media channels. Details should also be on our Sporran guide to be published ahead of the game. Our member club WESTA have agreed to co-ordinate on behalf of ATAC. To reserve seats (and to help us identify how many buses to request) email atac.astana@outlook.com
  12. Information was taken from Foreign office advice website https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/albania/entry-requirements "Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 3 months from the date of entry into Albania. " Given it is date of entry I assume you will be ok as well. You could email the British consulate british.embassytirana@fco.gov.uk although not sure what difference it will make as not much you can do about it now and the only way to know for sure is turn up and find out.
  13. ATAC have produced a Sporran Guide for this weekend's trip to Albania http://www.associationoftartanarmyclubs.com/albania-sporran-guide/ Hope you find it useful.

We certainly can't comment on behalf of the SSC but you definitely were not "cleared of all allegations" by ATAC.

  23. ATAC ā€“ the Association of Tartan Army Clubs - generally does not conduct conversations on Forums, particularly those where the posters are anonymous. However, we have been following comments within this thread and others and felt it appropriate to respond. ATAC is a voluntary umbrella group for a number of Scotland Supporters groups (Tartan Armies) throughout the country and beyond. Each member group elects a representative to ATAC who in turn elect a steering group, this is carried out annually. They do not and have never purported to represent all of the wider Scottish support, but do believe that the composition of its membership is broadly representative of all. We have been reading comments re ATAC ā€˜hidingā€™, ā€˜cosying upā€™ ā€˜not wanting to lose its advantagesā€™ etc. If anyone can tell us the advantages we would be delighted to know. We are certainly not hiding, for those who are not aware - itā€™s probably helpful to explain what we are doing. We have to confess we are slightly hesitant in doing so, why? ā€“ this is a public forum, anyone can read this, including those from press and media ā€“ we can see the headlines already ā€œTartan Army Chiefs meet to discuss Strachanā€™s futureā€ ā€œSack the SFA Board say Tartan Army Chiefsā€ā€¦The use of ā€˜Chiefsā€™ is indicative of what is usually printed, not how we perceive ourselves. Anyone can be a Chief, want a turn? We are all Scotland supporters and like everyone we are hurting at the moment, however, with the next International dates not until March 2017, we have time to consult with the membership seek their views and opinions and determine what, if any, actions should be taken. Itā€™s not for an individual or steering group to determine that, that is driven by consensus. Some threads started by criticising how some people support the national team, others called for the manager to resign / be sacked. Others referred to the SFA Board and the Chief Executive. Threads developed over ticket issuing at Wembley then moved onto criticising ATAC Our position is very straightforward. Through our member clubs we will seek to identify and sort out the ā€˜factā€™ or ā€˜validā€™ concerns / issues, we know that they are there. These will be taken to our next regular representatives meeting, which co-incidentally is in a couple of weeks. The representatives will discuss and agree next steps. If we require (and most certainly will) to take something to the SSC / SFA we will. The SSC / SFA do not require to listen or meet with us, they do so as they appreciate that we have taken time to consider things and provide alternatives or solutions. The ā€˜relationshipā€™ is one of courtesy, itā€™s no secret that it was not good for a time ā€“ when ATAC met with the SFA Commercial team and registered our disgust at the pricing policy for the last campaign, letā€™s just say we didnā€™t miss them with our comments. Notwithstanding that we have continued to meet and discuss with the SSC and SFA Security on matters affecting ā€˜the matchday experienceā€™ everything from ticketing through security at matches home and away. Do we always get what we ask for ā€“ most certainly not ā€“ but we do find that a number of our suggestions and proposals are adopted. Now, do you want to influence what we do? You are very welcome. Donā€™t take this the wrong way, but seldom will we act upon a posting on a messageboard from someone we do not know, just because a vociferous small number of people say ā€œpitchforks outside Hampden at dawn ā€“ ATAC lead the attackā€ will we go away and arrange this ā€“ Any reasonably headed person should understand this position. What can you do? Well, ONE poster from here has taken the time to write, they have had the courtesy of a reply, please feel free to contact us. Or if you are so minded, attend any of the meetings of ATAC member clubs, where all sorts of things are discussed including your item, whatever it is. Of course,if you want to raise it with Hampden directly, then you are perfectly entitled to do so, we can supply the appropriate extension number if you wish. Please do not start posting questions here ā€“ there is a link to contact us on our websiteā€“ as stated at the outset we generally do not conduct conversations on anonymous forums. And, we fully expect that every line or word will be dissected by some and thrown back at us, we are used to that. We would hope however that you appreciate the sentiment and intent. We are all at the end of the day just Scotland fans trying to support our team.
