  1. The fai don't care about us individual fans they showed that in November. After 2012 a large number of supporter clubs were setup and these are now flavour of the month with the fai. We tried to hold a protest against this at USA friendly and were met with a wall of stewards and guards. The Scotland game will be the last hone game attended by a large number of fans because of all this
  2. Abbey travel are the " official travel partner" of the fai so get access to tickets for every game both hone and away. They always have a good pay day from Ireland game just look at what they charging for trips to our away games.Caused uproar in November as well as they were selling trips to the game in Glasgow few weeks before the game with guaranteed match tickets where as the regular irish fans had to apply in July and majority missed out (sone of who even travelled to georgia)
  3. Hi guys just thought I'd start this give yous the heads up. Fai released the ticket prices for our game against England today and are charging 70 and 90 for the game. Know a lot of yous bought the duo package so should have no trouble selling on the England ticket for face value of that area in the ground ( usually 50 for ticket in 502) if trying to sell them ybig.ie or Republic of Ireland fans forum (on Facebook) be 2 options before going down the 3rd party site routes. At least using either site guarentees irish fans are buying the tickets
  4. Never been in 309 but been in premium section before and had a good view. Did you get that ticket through abbey travel
  5. Been told all local clubs and supporters clubs have access to presale now with rest of the season tickets getting access to presale in few weeks
  6. I can't remember exactly what they charged for packages to euro 2012 but know it was mad money. I was 1 of the lucky ones who was in poland supporting Ireland and spent 16 days over there with whole trip costing between 1500-2000 euro (we rented apartment and car so could of been done cheaper) DIY packages best for tournaments like this and tickets are able to be got via the resale portal as long as you willing to put the time in online
  7. Hope you have deep pockets washboarder judging by the prices usually quoted by abbey for our away games. Charging €599 for 4 day trip to the algarve for Gibraltar game. We are doing a week for roughly less than that price
  8. Will be tickets floating about on the day lads always touts around the stadium as well. Presale is currently open to clubs and supporters clubs and will then be offered to rest of us season ticket holders in a few weeks. Should there be any tickets left over they will then go on general sale
  9. Robert did the bus companies look for you to pay upfront. Looking into bus companies ATM for our game in September but ideally prefer to pay on the day last bus I organised was from Vienna to Bratislava and paying on the day made things so much easier for us
  10. Lads I mentioned on the Facebook page (the Republic of Ireland fans forum) about yous buying the duo tickets and trying to sell on the England ticket. If anyone is looking for tickets will point them in this direction. Only allow for face value on the page though
  11. Be no problem when yous come over to Dublin either lads. Our guards take a sensible approach to events like this where by if you doing it in the right way and not attacking up they won't bother yous
  12. Beggars bush is always a good spot before games and slatterys has now become the new home of ybig so a lot of the members meet here before the games and they also show the fans game on tvs before the game.Big bonus to both bars is the nearby spar shop lol a lot were going there last Sunday getting cans and drinking them in the outside area to the front of beggars bush. Hard to turn down 4 cans (cans of Dutch gold) for €5 when was €5.10 for a pint in the bar
  13. Is it not the other way about GTR pre match will have no bother getting kids into any of the bars around the ground. Post match it can be a bit harder with a lot if the bars having bouncers on the doors, if want a few pints after the game and have kids with you the Clyde court hotel (formerly the berkley court) is beside the stadium and no issue getting in with kids
  14. Do you know know buts them when sell them on viagogo. Reason why I ask is I'd imagine will be a 0 tolerance approach taken to English fans in the home end of the stadium (won't be the same for you guys) and tickets will be traced back to the original purchaser
  15. Imagine he got what was left. The €110 duo pack sold out last week with only the €150 package being available. Now after the result on Sunday and yous guys buying them these are also sold out
  16. Christ cheapest ticket they have available is €209.83 once include all the charges and is it the south stand upper tier. To put that into perspective I paid €108 for my season ticket in the south stand lower tier and got access to the Oman, Gibraltar, USA, poland, England and Scotland games for that as well as entry to the FAI cup final
  17. Lol good loves a trier the 4 I have access to via presale are already allocated to irish fans I'm afraid lol
  18. Personally I'm not expecting much of a general sale for this game. A lot of people missed out before the poland game with presale codes going unused etc. This time around I'd expect people to be more on the ball and get access to presale via friends who are season ticket holders of block bookers. Like me personal only got 2 extra for the poland game where as for Scotland il get the 4 I'm entitled to and have upwards of 10 more to try sort via other season ticket holders I'm sure a lot of others will be in similar situation
  19. Good few would of bought the 3 game package but others were sourced through clubs etc. 1 club in the west of Ireland which is mainly made up of polish members got 250 tickets. Also I'd say a large portion of the 7000 tickets that went on general sale were snapped up by the poles. Seen a lot of irish fans searching for tickets during the week before the game as they assumed would still be tickets available No bother picking up tickets from touts on the day either be no shortage of them around the ground if you know where to look
  20. Lads if yous looking to sell the England tickets on ybig.ie be good place to start. Usually for ever game there is a topic started up with lads looking for tickets and expect the England game to be no different. From what I'm hearing only tickets priced at €70 will be available when England tickets become available as a stand alone game so should have no bother selling on tickets for it. Sure even if you get 40/50 euro for it be better than nothing
  21. Many of you lot staying in the times hostel Camden street on match night. Few of us irish booked in there such a handy hostel if you going out after the match. Can fall out of any of the many nightclubs on harcourt street and be in your bed in a minute
  22. Think it all depended on which end of the ground you were entering from as well. I came in from the sandymount hotel side of the ground and didn't get checked by security at all after the ticket checks
  23. The late goal keeps everyone optimistic for the game in June. We all know how important this game is now. The figures I was told at the weekend was there was 32000 tickets sold for Scotland game already. I'd expect them to have the presale for these games as well. These were opened to season ticket holders and block bookers and vantage club members (est 15-20 thousand of these). If like the poland game each person be able to buy 4 extra tickets for the game.Taking all that on board you genuinely could see this game being sold out without having a general sale at all as clubs still have to get their allocations as well
  24. I must missed something over the weekend, never realised all the Scottish players were playing for the top teams in Europe.Let's hope hoolahan is fit in June and the Scottish players have same opinion of him as you do. That way he can show you exactly what he learnt playing for these small time clubs
  25. I'm sure the fai will do the same as for the poland game. They had 3 Seperate presales open to season ticket holders/vantage club holders etc. After these presales was roughly 7000 tickets left which were then put on general sale. If these tickets had been bought during the presale there would of been none left for general saleI'd expect very few to be left for general sale this tine around. A large number of irish fans left it late looking for tickets for the poland game and I'd expect these to be on the ball this tine around and get access to the presale via friends who have season tickets etc As for the lad that is 100% sure there will be a general sale because delaney told his friend there would be 1 I'd say take things delaney says with a pinch of salt. This the same man who told fans in georgia they would be guarenteed tickets for Scotland yet a large number were unsuccessful and sat in the hone end because of it
