Seems a very round number and it's the same number for all three games. Sounds like they've just taken a guess at how many they think will be left.

Surely UEFA can provide accurate figures to the SFA? I’m not surprised it’s a very similar figure for Cologne and Stuttgart but I thought there would be more available for Munich than the other 2.

The vast majority probably did buy 3 tickets though so maybe there is a very similar number for all 3 games though.

If the figures are accurate it does mean that over 1300 12+ pointers either didn’t buy 3 tickets or bought no tickets at all which seems a bit high to me.

That is still a decent amount although many of them are going to be costly. Its just a pity so many fans are on 11 points. I would hate to be in that position.

Good luck to everyone trying today.

Better than being on 10 points. The Munich game is ridiculously expensive for cat 1 and cat 2 but the other 2 games really aren’t that bad considering how much we’ll all be paying to get to Germany and to stay there.

I had to do mine and my husband’s , got 3 fans first for him because it was written in our wedding vows that he  always comes first . I got 195/60/30 for myself which was a result. Couple of times on his order requests it said the ff ticket wasnt available but i just resubmitted and it came up the second time. Didn’t try that on mine , was just glad at not having to pay over the odds given I had 2 lots of tix to book.
I think anyone that had to do more than one lot of tix did really well to keep it at the kind of price you got.

Your husband might have the cheaper tickets but you’ll have a better view at 2 of the games.

I was in at 12 exactly and wasn’t able to get FF for any of the games. Just luck I suppose.

Yeah fair point. It seemed easy to me because I got them and my 3 mates all got the same as me but I appreciate that others weren’t as lucky. We all had our codes in the field from 11:55 and clicked submit at 12 on the dot.

Well everyone eligible to buy today must have been to at least one away game as I believe the most points you could have from just attending home matches was 11.

A lot of rage about the travel club which should really be directed at UEFA to be honest.
I agree that perhaps introducing additional windows for higher points would have been a nice touch but the real crime here is the jump in prices between different categories.

€400-€600 for one game is absolute shocking

It is possible because 2 bonus points are available.

I agree with the rest of your points though. The SSC loyalty system is not designed to give people with high points first go at cheaper tickets.

If it wasn’t for the huge discrepancy between the cheap tickets and expensive tickets nobody would be moaning about it.

It wasn’t that difficult to get FF tickets today if you entered your code at 12:00 exactly. I got one easily enough for Munich and bought cat 3 tickets for the other 2 games as a choice (FF tickets were still available).

Who is the "British" state broadcaster that collects licence fees from people living in Scotland ?

    BBC or ITV ?

If you can't see it i can't help you

I’m not sure it’s me that needs help.

The BBC is showing 2 Scotland group games and 2 England group games. ITV is showing 1 Scotland group game and 1 England group game.

I agree that the BBC is heavily biased in favour of England in general but you are seeing a problem here where there isn’t one.

  7. 1 hour ago, Ally Bongo said:

Erm - they can sort of

    They had a choice

Show the opening game and one of England's group games

    or

Give up the opening game and show two of England's group games

Do you not get ITV where you live or something?

Imagine the conversations up and down the country tonight.

"Honey, I should hopefully be able to get on and buy a ticket for the Scotland games tomorrow"

    "Oh, thats super."

    "You okay with that?"

    "Of course"

    "It's just..."

    "Uhu?"

"One of the games, the tickets that are left are quite dear..."

    "Thats okay. How much?"

    "Emm.... £600..."

    "SIX FUCKING WHIT!!"

Cue divorce papers being drawn up 🤣

Everyone should have a secret wee Monzo pot (or something similar) their other half doesn’t know about for just such occasions.

Tattiescone, I haven't been able to use the 'Seat With' option as my girlfriend got a different category for the Switzerland match and your post will explain why.

I've had a read through the info online and I don't think it clearly says anywhere that this would be the case i.e We have the same category for the Germany and Hungary matches so I thought that I would be able to use the 'Seat With' option for those games (unless I couldn't find that info, can you share?).

I'm not going to get too worked up though as I got FF tickets for all 3 matches and she got FF for games 1 and 3. We paid a total of 235 EUR for all six tickets. If we had done single ticket transactions we could have possibly ended up paying a bit more. I think we've all had enough panic with the ticket sale today and the fuck up yesterday!! 🤪

I think there will be quite a few in the same boat and as for matches 1 and 3, I will be doing my best to be seated together seeing as they are in the same price category after all. It's usually a bit of a free for all at away matches as I'm sure you will have experienced and I don't mind swapping seats if it's with a same category ticket. Match 2, naturally, will be different, as we are in different categories.

Hope you guys got sorted!! 😁

I’m pretty sure it tells you in the FAQs on the SFA website that the seat with option can’t be used for tickets from different categories but even if it doesn’t I would say it’s pretty obvious this is the case. I wouldn’t be too happy if I paid €600 for a ticket and someone who paid €50 was sitting beside me.

Edit - I misread your post so I’m talking pish I think.

I think you would have had to pay for each ticket individually to use the seat with option for certain games.

The British Broadcasting Company is who we pay the licence fee to

If England were in the opening game which channel do you think would have it ?

The BBC can’t just choose which games they want to show. They are sharing the rights with ITV and have to come to an agreement with them. The game is on free to air so there is no issue here.

I wonder how many tickets from the 3 games are actually left for us 11 pointers tomorrow noon? No doubt the €600 Euro ones for the Germany game which is understandable but unsure about both the Switzerland & Hungary games?

There should be somewhere between 2200 and 2500 for each game left at least. Possibly a good bit more for Munich depending on how many 12+ pointers had the stomach to pay €400 for a ticket.

I reckon will be no fans first tickets or cat 3 tickets left for any games and a small amount of cat 2 tickets will be available for folk that get in quick. Vast majority of remaining tickets will be cat 1 would be my guess.

  12. The BBC is showing our other 2 games. I’m not defending the BBC but not really sure what point you are trying to make.

I’m sure the BBC would have loved to have shown the opening game but I’m not really sure how the broadcast agreement works.

I clicked on access code for Germany kept coming up with error when did get in all fans first gone, I also got kicked out at payment and had to start again and got category 3 tickets for 3 games, sfa shambles

This post is a bit of a shambles. 😂

Sorry to hear of your problems though. Sounds frustrating.

I recieved one order number for my 3 tickets - whereas others i know recieved 3 different order nubers (one for each game)?

If you put all three tickets into your basket and paid for them all together you will have one order number. If you pay for the three tickets in three separate transactions (I’m not sure why anyone would do this but it is possible) you will have 3 order numbers.

This is the problem I don’t have any ‘orders’ tab . The only way I can see my tickets is by using this link I found online :

    https://euro2024-sales.tickets.uefa.com/account/tickets

I feel i must he doing something wrong but i have tried looking everywhere for it when signing into my account the normal way.

Are you using your phone or a laptop/pc? I couldn’t find anything when signed in on my phone (although admittedly I didn’t look very closely) but if you log in on a laptop there should be an Order History link under tickets on the right hand side.

I also paid 110€ so fans first in all. Booking time: 1pm 🙂 for me easy one. Hope all others are going through fine, too...

Nice one. The stress of the last couple of days has lifted and we can start looking forward to the games.

At least you don’t need to worry about flights and the like.

  17. Just now, TDYER63 said:

People are just wanting to make sure the actual link works. After yesterday its hardly surprising. And a Grim Jim has shown it’s just as well.,

Some people probably hoping UEFA have pressed the button early and they can swoop in a get their mitts on some cheap tickets.

never thought of that. either that or he was on the wind up and doctored the image he sent me....

I could be wrong but from what I remember the last time you don’t get to see your tickets straight away. You need to download the ticket app and they become available at some point later but not the same day.  It was 2 years ago right enough so I may be talking shite.

600e for a football match to non corporate fans is hilariously absurd.

Where does that figure even come from?  Black market I could see it but that's the official price?🤣

    120 would be my limit

The game will sell out though. The old saying of if you fill your ground you are not overcharging comes to mind although I obviously agree that the higher prices are ridiculous for a game of football.

Unless everyone makes a stand and refuse to buy the more expensive tickets then UEFA and FIFA will continue to charge what they think they can get away with for tournament matches. There will always be people willing to pay through the nose to get to these games.

I'm a IT contractor. I don't have a holiday entitlement. I have to fit in time off between projects & it rarely lines up with Scotland away games. I even struggle to get the odd half day off to go to midweek home games (club & country) at times.

That’s fair enough but you need to accept that people who manage to get to more games than you will get more loyalty points and will benefit from that.

Always seem to be guys who somehow find an edge with these sort of online ticket sales be it football or music tickets. I take it won't allow you to buy before 12pm but if you apply before 12pm does it put you at top of a waiting list to buy when the sale starts. Not something i have ever done but plenty of guys i know have tried and succeeded by doing this sort of thing(admittedly usually for concert tickets) Hopefully it won't allow you to do this and everyone gets a fair chance. Surely it won't allow people to get an advantage.

The SFA website can be manipulated like that I think but not sure the UEFA one can.

I remember in the old days we used to change the last digit in the ticket sales phone number from 0 to 1 and you’d get through straight away instead of queueing for ages.

Only plan available is to apply as soon after 12 as possible and keep fingers crossed. It'all up in the air regarding the cheaper tickets. Good luck guys.

We all have the same chance of getting the cheaper tickets (if you have at least 12 points) which is fair enough.

My post was just a Blackadder joke though. I wasn’t suggesting anyone actually needed a cunning plan.
