  1. Just been listening to WGS press conference, he says he wants to give everyone in the squad game time over the two games. For that reason I think he'll start Mcgregor Hutton Greer Martin Roberston Brown Morrison Ritchie Maloney Anya Fletcher With Mcgregor, Greer, morrison, maloney, ritchie and fletcher coming off at some point. 2-1 scotland.
  2. But i feel really Scottish.
  3. Of course this was a wind up thread. The point was, Ritchie and the like have has much right to play for Scotland as Anya does. The difference seems to be that Anya is a total dude and a great player. For the record, long live Anya!
  4. Arfield will be thinking that he is playing well and has been for a few years but can't get near the Scotland squad. He has a chance of international football and obviously has a connection to Canada. I say, if he goes for it then good luck to him and I hope he plays well. We've had our chance to cap him and haven't, by the looks of it he won't be near the Scotland team any time soon anyway. We don't need him, so good luck and I hope he plays a few decent teams on Canada duty.
  5. I only wish Maybe you're not one of the people it was aimed at. I'm trying to work out what the rules are. They seem to change.
  6. What football integrity? Anya qualifies but Matt Ritchie doesn't. Why? Are you going to talk about FEELING Scottish?
  7. Ok, i should have said "tamb zoomer" rules. I'm just trying to work out who qualifies and why. The rules seem to change.
  8. If you feel American then you can't play for Scotland.
  9. I just wonder, that maybe at some point he supported nigeria or romania. Should he be allowed? Is it good enough to say that you "support Scotland"? I'm just trying to work out the definitive rules...
  10. So you have to FEEL scottish to play for scotland? We know that Anya feels Scottish because some dudes had a flag at a spanish match? What if he actually FEELS nigerian but also kind of feels scottish but has a feeling for romania? We're a weird bunch.
  11. I'm just trying to work out the mental rules. So born in Scotland and raised to 7 is cool. What if born in Scotland and raised to 7 but considers themselves french? Scottish or not?
  12. Nope. Why does Anya qualify when others don't?
  13. I think Anya is brilliant, one of the first names on the teamsheet. How does he qualify when others don't?
  14. So Anya shouldnt be selected? I think he's a proper dude, one of our best players actually.
  15. Playing well, it says more about scotland than makie that he cant get near the squad. An option but i think his time has passed.
  16. Fair play but i'm starting to think "Rules ar rules". OK, yer granny once visited edinburgh might be dodgy but a guy with Scottish parents and grandparents has ever right to play for us, no?
  17. By that logic, Jack Harper feels Spanish.
  18. Exactly. Surely he would FEEL more romanian or nigerian than Scottish. Anya out?
  19. I wonder whether anya would pass the "feel scottish" test? Surely he would feel closer to the culture of his parents?
  20. Here's the audio, sounds alright. https://audioboom.com/boos/2991089-listen-afcb-s-matt-ritchie-talks-to-kristemple-about-his-scotland-call-up-bbcsportscot Dad is scottish, grandparents are scottish, he's chosen scotland. Fair play to the lad, let's hope he's another anya.
  21. They three changes you've made to my team were the exact changes i was thinking about. Should def go with this type of system.
  22. Against Gib we should try to play a different system. Just to see if we can an extra system to our already successful systems. I'd go: Mcgregor Hutton martin greer roberston Maloney fletcher brown Naismith Fletcher Rhodes
  23. Talk of Ross McCormack going to Derby county That would be a great move for him
