Probably a fair result. Happy with a draw considering the way the game looked like panning out. Glad the rotten officials didn't have any influence on who gets knocked out either way.

Ciftci kicked out at Browns head, should have gone for that. Thought butcher was unlucky to go but you could perhaps argue it. Ciftci's offence was worse imho. Van Dijk was stupid to get involved.

It's quite simple. Deduct points whether the clubs involved did all they could or not. I don't give a shit if they tried their best - their best wasn't good enough.
Once points start getting deducted it will stop overnight.
This applies to ANY club whose support is guilty of sectarian singing or chanting.

Thought it was a decent film, particularly when relating it back to the real life events that inspired it. I'm still struggling to get the logic though of portraying Arthur Thompson with a Northern Irish accent! That kinda spoiled it for me really.

Buy a dog and then open a bank account in Switzerland in its name. Once this in place, become manager of Portsmouth FC and rake in as many backhanders from dodgy transfer deals as you can. Works better still if you can somehow link up with a dodgy Serbian.
Follow this up by managing Spurs then finally by getting QPR relegated for added authenticity.
A tried and tested sure fire way of avoiding any tax whatsoever.

I'm struggling to see how it can cost much more than £200 to be honest! Hiring a hotel suite for an hour or two and a few flasks of coffee and some biscuits? Maybe £300 if the coffee is decent and the biscuits of the chocolate variety?

And this in my view is a huge part of the problem. I'm not making excuses for any bigoted or racist behaviour both of which are deplorable, but the general treatment and near criminalisation of football fans attending matches must have some bearing on their behaviour surely? Treat people like animals and they will behave as such. Like I say it's not excusing unacceptable behaviour but might go some way to explaining the lack of willingness to accept that their behaviour is unacceptable and needs to change.On a slight tangent.
The reaction to Kim Sears outburst at the Australian open seems to be one of mild amusement at the pretty, middle class girl letting out a few swearies at the Tennis.
If she shouted that at an SPFL game, she'd be getting a football banning order and charged under The Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act.
This applies to all kinds of poor behaviour and not just sectarian.
