The make up of the squad for June should have changed following these results; less Kenny McLeans & Greg Taylor’s & more Ryan Frasers & hopefully someone who can create, breakdown & be effective in the final 3rd ie Ryan Gauld potentially? Surely we try these guys in the next friendlies!

The next friendlies will be after the Euros squad is picked. This was the last chance to try anyone new.

I'm sure you are right, they looked to having a great time acting like plastic English fans, booing celtic players despite there likely being celtic fans from northern Ireland in their end.

And in their team, eg. the matchwinner.

I have 2 x Wales or Poland v France in Dortmund for swap for 2 x Scotland v Swiss or Hungary if anyone interested. Got them in Uefa lottery.

Doubt you'll find many takers for that swap on here!

Did they not get home advantage in the playoff semi finals due to their higher ranking? Just like we did against Israel and Ukraine?

    Yes.

Home team in the semi finals is decided on performance (Nations League for the Euros / best group runners up in the World Cup qualifiers).

For the play off finals it's luck of the draw. Appreciate the fixture congestion but I think the finals should either be two legged or played at a neutral venue.

The Welsh have been jammy buggers twice and I think they'll get through to Germany.

Yellow doesn’t work at all. Pish decision.

and the blue shorts with the yellow even worse. Should be white shorts.
Can’t decide if the blue is wrong or it just looks that way cos of the yellow.

A shame we won’t look so good at the big party……. But I won’t care how they look if they play well.

If all the yellow parts were white it would look fine.

I’m in Cologne for a couple of days either side of our game against Switzerland and fancy going to Dortmund to watch Turkey vs Greece (potentially) so hoping some tickets have been held back for play off winners.

Jeez didn't realise that was a potential clash. Would be wild! I'm just arriving in Dusseldorf that night, I imagine the atmosphere will be spilling over there 😱

  7. I like both forums but they are a very different experience. Posting on the TAMB is like going out for a pint with a couple of mates, whereas posting on Pie and Bovril is like taking the karaoke mic at the end of a stag night.

This poll isn't clear why he's unpopular (it might be because people think he's a creep or it might be something else) but unpopular he is:

I can't remember Sturgeon or pre-trial Salmond ever polling so poorly. It's alarming too that Anas Sarwar - a man with the charisma of a wardrobe - is marginally ahead of him in preferences for next FM.

I can remember when Iain Gray was bookies favourite to be the next First Minister. Long way to go til the next election.

To be honest the DNA matching is very useful in terms of family history stuff,  if you know what you are doing( I don't, my wife does). In terms of ethnicity then its a the results are consistently being refined and give a decent indication.

I'd second this. My brother took the test (saved me a job 😁) and while the results were pretty much as expected (68% Scottish Highlands, 27% Irish with a little bit of English and Scandinavian mixed in (our mum's grandpas were from Killarney in Ireland and Cornwall)), the links they gave to people you may be related to that have also done the test were surprising.

A couple of close relatives were mentioned to corroborate the findings, but also distant cousins I'd never heard of, with common names to the family that the people compiling the test would never have known.
