  1. For myself, I believe that just about all of the folk I know (family, friends and most colleagues) who voted No did so because they sincerely believe that it was for the best for...... Scotland.

If that's the case then i sincerely believe the folk you know are in the minority. Most of the folk i know who voted No done so because it was best for them. They didn't give a flying feck about what is best for the country as a whole or their fellow citizens. If they did, they wouldn't have voted to continue the 4th most unequal country in the developed world.

  2. The SNP have changed positions on things, not 5 days before the country goes to the polls though.

If you think a political party changing a policy outwith an election period, is in anyway equatable to what the Westminster parties did last week, then you're deluded. [/quote

The snp promised a currency union they absolutely had no right to. Pot meet kettle !!

Politicians react to the way the wind is blowing and if you didn't expect the three amigos to do that maybe you're a tad on the deluded side as we'll

SNP outlined their proposal and intention to have a currency union months and months ago. Again, nothing like moving the goalposts to a position they'd already rejected (westminster parties on Devo-Max) just 5 days before the vote.

  3. No that's a daily record front page, what did the political parties publish ? I don't think they did. They moved the goalposts to suit them just like the snp did when shifting from the euro and the ark of prosperity to a currency union that ruk would get whether we like it or not . Politicians do it all the time

  4. Well, the good news is, I didn't sit in silence. I've challenged many a person, at both Ibrox and away games; and have reported the worst offenders to police/stewards. But yes, sometimes I had to sit and ignore it, because challenging someone indulging in the bigoted bullsh*t when they were a part of a much larger crowd just wasn't worth the risk to myself. One man vs. many - you've got to play the odds.

But now, I'm done. I'm not going back to Ibrox. I used to be able to disassociate the bigotry from the club & the team, but no longer. I couldn't go back to Ibrox and listen to that bollox, watch the morons glorify in the No vote and gloat over the fact the Union is still intact (barely), and see all the UJs and RHOUs being waved. I used to argue that the club were fighting against the bigotry - I was wrong. They encourage it, they feed it, and they thrive because of it. And I refuse to participate in that.

So now, if I'm going to football when I'm back in Scotland, it won't be to Rangers games. I'll go to one of the local teams - Motherwell, Accies, or Albion Rovers (not Airdrie!). I might even go to the Juniors, never having experienced that before. I'll still look out for Rangers' results, and I'll still hope that they win etc., but I'm not putting my money into the club anymore. I'm not feeding the sectarianism. I'm done.

Top Post :ok: I can see why folk i know, that also know you, speak highly of you.

  5. Maybe I don't know what a homepage is then?

I went onto the Vanguard Bear's website & pressed Home.

Then I backtracked through previous articles & saw nothing to support TJ's assertion that the trouble in George Sq was organised by the Vanguard Bears.

I then pressed Forum but couldn't access it as it required me to either Sign In or Register.

I've no wish to register so chose not to.

Still with me so far? Splendid!

I think as the Master of Bawbaggery on here, I have much to learn from you in the 'making an arse of yourself' department.

At no time have I 'attempted to sweep scumbaggery from fellow Rangers fans in this incident.

I have already said I'd be disappointed if the VB were instrumental in the organisation of the trouble in George Sq & was asking Tartan Jon to provide the link.

I wasn't calling him out, just asking for proof.

If there is evidence I'll condemn it like I'm sure any right minded reasonable Rangers fan would.

Shown to be talking pish so lash out with personal insults. Tut tut.

  6. No I didn't.

I went onto the website Home page & scrolled back through previous articles & can't find any link to anything connected to what Tartan Jon's referring.

I couldn't access any other parts of the site as I'm not a member so couldn't sign in & access any of the forums.

Is that any clearer for you?

You said you looked on the homepage. You maybe don't understand what a homepage is.

So it seems you made an @rse of yourself in attempting to sweep scumbaggery from your fellow Rangers fans under the carpet and by not understanding basic terms.

  7. Kind of echoes what I have been saying the last few days. The union lovers are the older generation brought up on tales of Brits fighting the Nazis in World Wars but those days are long in the past now and countries in the UK having a swiftly growing population that are desperate to go their own ways. There is no going back now for the union. Even hope of a war uniting everyone again isn't a possibility as any new World War will be settled by the dropping of nukes - instantaneous armageddon.

    Are you Neil Doncaster?
