He’s an excellent passer and I’m sure he’ll keep improving at it as well. Hes every bit as good at it as Jorginho that’s for sure.

He’s not even remotely close to the Scholes and Pirlo level at the moment although very few players were / are.

You're comparing Scholes to Pirlo? Dearie me.

It's the one thing that the trolls will get me with every time. The vast majority of the Rangers support are bigoted scum, enabled by their bigoted disgrace of an organisation and emboldened by the false equivalence of positioning 'hun' as a bigoted term. I'll stand by my Klan analogy. I've been abused by 'Huns' based on being a Roman Catholic. Fuck all to do with Celtic as I've been clearly Killie (strips, scarves, sweatbands etc 😂) all my life. So yes, I hate Rangers and I'm wary of anyone who supports them. I'm met some nice ones, but still having conversations about how they can stick with it. I accept it's difficult to ditch your team, regardless of the baggage. But if a black person can hate the Klan, I can hate Rangers without arseholes claiming that hating Rangers is sectarianism. They've earned the hatred of every decent person in Scotland and beyond.

    Amen.

Dundee should have had that done and dusted, Ill be amazed if Killie play that badly again. Going to be very close I think. I still can't believe teams dont get tight to Charlie the Hun. He can do some damage with that left peg if he has the time.

A special mention must go to that performance from Kirk Broadfoot 😂😂🤦🏻

Broadfoot and Dicker were apparently the ones who instigated the coup against Alessio cos they couldn't understand his methods. How Killie bought back Broadfoot is a mystery. I think he left to St Mirren on a free, then once Alessio was sacked they paid money to get the nugget back. Dicker is an even bigger liability, a cause of at least one of the goals last night. Certainly not captain material after he downed tools in order to get his mate Dyer the job. Killie probably deserve to go down but I think they'll turn it around. Why oh why does Mulumbu not get a game? I've heard it's cos he's a rubbish trainer. He's still a miles better footballer than Dicker.

He's definitely no Ronaldo, but only Ronaldo is Ronaldo.

Aye, but that's simply not true. There's two Ronaldos. I'm not even sure to which you are referring. 🤠

I only operate respectfully and within the rules. :)

You weren’t very respectful of the death of Michael Collins or what he achieved during his life. In fact, you basically said he lied and was part of a worldwide conspiracy. 🤔

Of course it is a generalisation as I don't know everyones views but it isn't misinformation.

Of course it is! Your generalisation is misinforming people.

Anyway, the independence movement has the potential to rip itself apart. I’ll be back when NS gets the ball rolling. I’m genuinely fucked off with the way some are portraying those who put a tick in a box for something they believed in. The arseholes who keep going on about Salmond vanity projects are doing themselves no favours. It’s actually rather insulting to those who believe in what they stand for, as if we were taken in. Once the spirit of ‘14 is back, so will I.

The SNP rely on their list vote in South Scotland. Mad to vote Alba there, sorry.

If you'd been in Glasgow or the North East, then aye, i'd have went for it.

Sorry, not having being called mad. I voted the way I believe. There can’t be regret in that.

I voted SNP in Eastwood constituency in the early ‘90s. Was I mad then? Not a snowball’s chance of a seat.

Maybe I love a lost cause. Like the guy from the NE (whose name I can’t remember) I think Salmond would have been an asset and a different Indy voice across the country could have helped us.

As ToePoke said, a lot of the list results for each constituency are being released.   I think because of the way the count is being done this year they are doing both votes for each constituency at the same time, or one after another, rather than trying to get through the constituencies first.   Obviously they can't allocate the seats until all the votes in a region have been counted.

Alba, however, are polling badly everywhere so it's highly unlikely that they will pick up a seat.  I haven't seen anything from West Scotland so far which was one of the regions they were polling least badly in so maybe there's a chance there but it looks unlikely.

You might be interested in these numbers.

    Kilmarnock

    SNP 18649
    Tories 8781
    Labour 8199
    Green 2017
    Lib dem 868
    All for Unity 706
    Alba 636

Yeah, cheers. I'm quite disappointed. But number one priority for me is pro-Indy majority. I woke up on Thursday undecided about my list vote. I was aware Alba were unlikely to get enough in south Scotland but decided to go with what I believe in. I believe in a more urgent push for independence. I also believe we need a strong independence alternative to the SNP. Didn't quite take to the SSP in the past and wasn't drawn in by RISE, but hoped ALBA could break through. Oh well, hopefully an Indy majority. And Nicola's initial statements are encouraging, determined to push on with legislation and Johnson will have to go to court to stop. Hopefully all systems go in the not-too-distant future. Onwards and upwards.

I am beginning to get fed up waiting on a manager. This is getting beyond a joke, unless there is something substantial going on behind the scenes at Parkhead. Who knows, but I have never seen the likes of this sort of handling of a situation before. From what I am hearing it is 100 percent Eddie Howe, so why not say something. Maybe Howe wants the disaster of a season over before he is introduced. It had better be worth the wait, I for one am getting fed up. Rumours that Christie and Eduoard are off without even a manager is out of order. Anyhoo, just keep playing the waiting game I suppose...

It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, Ramy. Don't get yourself worked up. I know we're all football fans here and, to a point, I understand your impatience. But come on, big (wee) fella, enjoy your life. Don't stress about it all. Take your dug a walk. Chat to your family. Watch one of your 17 Henrik DVDs. Just don't focus on your team's lack of manager (or rise to DandyDunn).

Yep. Apparently, not everyone knows what it is. They'd rather spend their time being grammar nazis 😛

I would even go up to 10+

How do you no know the difference between spelling and grammar?

I'm not sure what your point is. All western European countries suffered from COVID, which was an unprecedented pandemic, and in one sense you could say all governments should be absolved, or all blamed. If all are to be blamed, then  fair enough, but it doesn't seem a great argument in favour of the parties of government of England or Wales.

If we are not allowed to draw conclusions from other governments, but focus just on Scotland, then we could look at the record of what Scottish opposition parties did in the last year. As far as i can see they did not contribute much positively but rather the reverse, such as in undermining Scots Government messaging, and even trying to suppress it. A particular low was Baillie and Foulkes trying to get the First Minister public health messaging broadcasts taken off air. Then there were the Tories agitating for earlier lockdown release and Eat Out schemes that helped spread the virus, plus arguing for more international travel and arguing against border controls, which could have prevented the second wave at the end of the summer.

So if taking a principled stance against the SNP for their COVID record, I'd also take a principled stance against Labour and Tories, and vote for someone completely unconnected with the above problems.

Have a tick. Well argued. Saves me cos I can’t be arsed.
