Lairdy, great to hear from you ! I will bump this thread every year if it means a wee visit  đ
What a lovely colourful tree. And a new house too. Very exciting . Will your grandson be up for Xmas ?
I must say you have made a fantastic effort , I assume the red envelope lurking in the tree branches is the bill for all the Elf n Safety improvements.
Nice wee box of shortbread you have in the corner, is Mrs L on strike like the rest of the country ? đÂ
Just like Santa i will visit once a year. The tree and wrapped presents are all down to MrsL, better not getting involved in tree decoration or gift wrapping, guarantee i would do it wrongÂ đ€Ł Going down to see the wee fella next Tuesday (he's 3 next birthday). Must be getting old just sussed out the 'Elf and Safety' comment.Â đ€Ł The Shortbread is heading down south to my daughter-in-law. No, she is still working, my Mrs is working in admin. at the local Health Centre. If i don't pop in before Christmas hope you and the family have a good Christmas and New Year.

đ I was just joking about Mrs B being annoyed with you for taking a photo of the tree without the curtains up and if she knew Mrs Killie had new curtains this year she would be wanting new curtains !Â
Never underestimate the importance of the TAMB xmas tree thread in the Homes and Garden magazine đHi, just popped in and noticed you commenting on Xmas trees. Just thought i'd make your day and show you my new tree, newish house. hope you observe i took notice of the Health and Safety advice from a couple of years agođ€Ł

Glad you shifted them but 309 is not the Scotland End? Our official allocation covers 130-140. 309 is at the other end of the ground from there
Thought the same as Scotland end tickets were sent out or to be picked up.

Your grandchildren must be getting big now Lairdy, you will be kept busy chasing after them.
I heard it was National babysitting day yesterday. Was on my way to doggy sit my daughters dog ( no doubt there is a âday â for that toođ) and it was on the radio. Folk had to text in stories of babysitting that went wrong. Someone said they were babysitting young kids and thought they were playing quietly in their rooms till they went to check them to find  the kids had actually dragged a paddling pool out the hall cupboard into their room and been filling it up with water they had sneaked in using a wee cup from the bathroom, then jumping into it from the top bunk đThings are ok with me. No grand children yet. I need to prove I am responsible enough with a dog before my daughters will unleash a baby on me. Think it may have taken a bit of a set back when my daughter caught me sharing my fish supper with the dog last night.Â
Good to hear from you again đÂ
Cheers, glad your doing ok. Don't get me started on the babysitting. đ€

I had very little pro indy choice in my area. Just the 3 unionist parties and the SNP.Â
I didn't have a choice, non-contested.

Time to resurrect this thread and see if we can get any more contributions. I am not overly confident but I will be bumping this thread to the top till xmas day if I need to.
I am mortified to admit my tree went up last weekend as I dont have time the next 2 weekends. I will be more unpopular in Germany than the anti vaxers.Â
Anyone else got their tree up yet ?Â
@Lairdyfaeinverclyde ( is he still on here) has  your tree met the elf and safety standards this year ?Â
ÂÂ
Hey you, coincidence. Don't come on here much now. When i moved house in the summer i got rid of the dangerous tree and got a new one yesterday. Health and safety will be adhered too. Hope you are well?

You must be desperate to see him  ! I am forgetting he is not exactly round the corner and with the tight lockdown over winter there wasnât much opportunity to visit . He will be huge compared to last time you saw him in person.Â
Good to know you have moved a bit closer to BoW ! If I ever manage to run further than Quarries I will track you down from the smell of Mrs Lairdys home baking and the heavy panting of an old geezer being chased round the garden by a toddler đ
I am ok. Fed up with Covid like everyone else but been very lucky with my health during it all do shouldnât complain. I am missing overseas holidays the most. I am also missing new underwear. Me and Mr Tidy have wee holiday rituals, I  get 7 pairs of new knickers and he gets a new toothbrush whenever we go abroad. I hope to god I dont get run down before I get on a plane again as my knicker collection looks like something from WW2.Â
Hope you and Mrs Lairdy have a great time with your grandson đ
Â
ÂYes, the wee man is walking now, really looking forward to seeing him in person. Glad your doing well and hope you get your knickers soon.Â

Cant believe its been 8 months since you posted your xmas tree with all its health and safety hazards,  itâs almost time to get it up again đGood to hear from you too thplinth, in all your angst and torment đ I didnt take you for a pieandbovril kinda guy , you are full of wee surprises. Are you on a tea break ?Â
It will soon be just you and me TT, dont worry I will just chat away to myself the days you arenât on here . I might even watch episode 2 of Home for Christmas whilst I am waiting for you .
I have been watching Catastrophe which is very funny.Â
ÂÂ
Thanks TDYER. I'm good, hope you are too? Not seen the wee fella since July last year but he is coming to visit in 3 weeks. Moved house to Upper Langbank (still the port). New house, new Christmas tree with health and safety procedures in place.

Excellent choice of assistant manager and I'm sure he would be welcomed by the Aberdeen support especially certain posters on here.đ

Not a big rugby fan but watching the English commentators, pundits and players squirming is absolutely fucking magic.

Happy Birthday to the late Bob Marley. He would have been 76 today.. I am a huge fan btw...
Went to Jamaica 5 year ago on holiday and spent a day in 9 mile district, Bob Marley's birth place and burial place. Fantastic place to visit. Would love to go back.
