Another 2 shows not to watch.

The Diplomat - I  lasted 30 minutes. Utter shite.

The Night Agent - for some reason I kept going with this.  I have just finished episode 8 and have lost the will to live.Still another 2 to go. Talk about stretching things out. Its  a run of the mill American hero type show with the obligatory beautiful couple in lead roles. Bad acting and  forgettable plot.

Oh, and  “The Diplomat” (US Version) - now that I think about it - wasn’t THAT bad. And I didn’t see the conclusion coming.

There’s a UK “The Diplomat” on the go.

    It’s equally naff.

    No need to thank me.

Well, it looks like I can tick off ‘professional gambler ‘ from my  ‘how to get rich quick’ list.
Unfortunately my bid for 4 th place failed to succeed, just to add to my ever growing catalogue of failures in life 😕

Thanks to those who offered their help. Hopefully I will be back same place,  same time,  next year , to do it all again 🙄

As promised I will pledge £50 to TASA.
Flure will post the final results when he can drag himself out of his retirement bed.

Shut it, you. I've been baking and everything this morning. (Porridge Bread with Raisins since you ask)

    Bread and Final Table posted.

And thank you for supporting the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal.

They will gratefully receive any donations in their PayPal account - info@tasunshineappeal.scot

Just to be upfront about my final placing I have sent @Flure a screenshot of the table as it sits just now. It has my name on it else I would post it on here. I know Flure off this board.
I will also send him the final placings after todays results are updated. He will confirm on here.

I know you all trust that I am an honest upstanding citizen, or you perhaps dont give a fook,  but since I have offered 50% of any winnings to TASA  i think it is only right I provide evidence of my final position.

Aye, so she did. And here it's here....

    Of course, yes.

I mentioned in my post that I can accept that you can take any one of those things & find logical explanations. You can probably find other explanations that maybe have an explanation which is simply unknown at this point.

Im also very willing to accept that I was at one of the most difficult times in my life & I know from having worked with some pretty mentally unbalanced people in my time that the human brain can & does work in some incredibly bizarre ways to stimuli it can’t deal quickly & effectively with.

I tried to be careful how I wrote the post to avoid saying “oh wow look this proves...”. The fact of the matter for me is that due to the combined impact of a series of things that have occurred in & around the house, I have moved from being a 100% sceptic on most ‘supernatural’ matters to someone who now has a few doubts.

Good post. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

She told me that the day before that payment came, she'd sat in the house & shouted at all my dead relatives..."you were no bloody use to him when you were alive" (there's a lot of truth in that!) "so can't at least one of you help him now?"

For the payment to have arrived the day after her rant, it would have to have been prepared, authorised and processed several days previously, no?

As if we’re going to qualify through our qualifying group furfuxake

I don’t know how old you are but my first game was Latvia at Parkhead when we qualified and ever since it’s been one abject failure after another so forgive me if I stopped really being optimistic and lost interest after the Tbilisi debacle only to be faced with the no Scotland no party mob in Faro

If throwing a dildo from one side of the street to the other while giving it the oles each time the 9” phalic member scurtled through the dreich Algarve air, doing Kilinsmans doon the strip in pishing rain, singing about Christian Benteke (rhyming slang for Eccies) and other general cuntbaggery which happens on tour then France and Russia would have breathed a sigh of relief

As a matter of fact, I went over to Paris for Euros and there was a fantastic party atmosphere with all fans. English and Northern Irish included. Not a single bawbag lifting his kilt and flashing his arse to be seen. Tremendous

Best fans in the world b’fuck? No chance. In number possibly but guaranteed every teams fans will say the same

    ....and a Happy New Year!

Interesting post but I’m not sure it will catch on. The Scotland supporters club was formed for supporters of the men’s team.

I realise the membership could be changed but with the best will in the world, attendances for the women’s team will probably go back to where they were a few months ago after the excitement of the World Cup has died down.

Should you also get a point for paying a fiver or even getting in free to a women’s match when the men’s games cost £20, £30, £40 etc?

I wouldn't necessarily be against it but can’t see it happening.

I can't see anywhere in the T&Cs where it mentions Men's team only.

I bought my tickets for the Women's World Cup matches from the SSC. I could do this because I was a member.

If the Scottish FA organised a Men's friendly match in Aberdeen and dropped the price to £15, should we get a half a home point because the normal price is £30? Points are awarded for attendance, not for the ticket price.

@Flure and the gang, I expect to hear that voice of yours booming round the stadium. The one you use for singing in cathedrals and yelling at Lady Flure when she burns your dauphinoise potatoes .

    Well, I did my best.

And we WERE on the telly, I'm led to believe.

  10. If the Scottish FA are serious about promoting the Women’s game, they should incorporate attendance at Women’s matches into their loyalty points system.
As it stands, someone who opts to attend a Women’s match instead of a Men’s match (when fixtures coincide) would be penalised in the points system.
Why should the supporters of the Women’s game be penalised this way?
True supporters who support both National Teams should be rewarded equally for attending all games.

😂 I would settle for a draw right now just to put us out the agony.

I think they are pinning their hopes on us being too thick to understand the permutations.

    Draw, schmaw!

We're looking forward to the drive from Rennes to Grenoble on Friday!

Enjoy your stay. Hopefully Scotland will get something from this third game and give you something to cheer.

If we beat Argentina and finish third, our possible venues for the Round of 16 are Le Havre and Grenoble.

People who claim to know things are saying that so many "unanticipated" things would need to happen for us to land in Le Havre.

So, looks like we'll have to leave our gaff in Brittany a day early and head for Grenoble.

All the best to Glasgow tonight

I'm sure that the whole of Glasgow would be thrilled if today's two major trophies were to remain in the city.
