I bought an interrail pass on the black Friday sale.
I think you can only have 1 day for outbound journey in home country, and 1 inbound day. Reason I mention that is the sleeper would be 1 day and then you’d be using UK travel again the following day for Eurostar so that wouldn’t work - I don’t think.
I am going to check that to be sure though so will report back. We currently plan to go Glasgow-London 6:30am on 12th. Eurostar at 1pm gets us to Cologne 6:15pm. Train the next morning to Munich.
If you join the train as Carstairs or Lockerbie. It counts as same day as you are boarding after midnight..

Good question, 👍I also believe most German cities have a diesel tax or ban within the city limits.
Maybe something to post on the post that the Cologne TA guy started.

I have two tickets for the German game on the same UEFA account, should that guarantee that they'll be next to each other?
So Do i, father and son. I'm presuming they will be together.
He is under 18 after all...

For the folks like me on over 12 points but waiting to buy together with 11 pointers today (my under 18 son) I'm assuming it makes sense to log in pre noon, add my tickets to the basket, then add my sons codes at noon??
Ensure you buy same price/ category as the ones you have for each game.
I didn't yesterday and had to start again.
Ended up with a more expensive pair
But got them eventually
Guid luck

Hiya, thank you for this, do you have any recommendations or advice of campsites near the city or near a train station in the Cologne area.
Cheers

Yeh that's a fair point. The guys who got us there should be rewarded with a place in the squad.
Barnes has timed things all wrong imo. If only Barnes had declared after 3 or 4 games into the campaign then there wouldn't be too much of an issue. It was pretty clear that we would qualify after the first 3/4 games. If Barnes had declared around that time and then turned up to the squads for the remaining games there would probably be no problem.
Saying that hes a big improvement on what we have and we need all the help we can get, especially when it comes to scoring goals.
If it's a 26 man squad then I would take him, especially if theres injuries.
Remember this time before the 2020 Euros, che hadn't declared for us
I think Mr Barnes has been injured and would have played for us by now if he had been fit
I think he'll play v Holland in March.

Anyone any idea when code email will arrive.
I was hoping today, but obviously not...
To answer my own question.
""Please note: Eligible supporters shall receive their codes ahead of 12 noon on Wednesday, 6 December.
Doesn't leave much time...

We got it last week. If you didn't get it, then you should get in touch with them pronto as you probably won't get the email with the code for buying tickets either. The main point of the email was to check that your contact details are up to date. Catch 22. 😉
Anyone any idea when code email will arrive.

James Forrest on the scoresheet yesterday.

I suspect Cairney has said to Clarke that he doesn't wish to be considered for selection. I know we're quite well-stocked in midfield but for someone who plays at the level he does not to have been selected for over four years tells me he's made it clear he isn't interested. Which is a shame, because like you say, his assist yesterday was excellent.
Aye, I'm with you there. Barnes appears to be completely out of the picture with England but Gordon and Livramento are playing regularly and on-form (unlike some players currently making the England squad). Southgate might not even be England manager by this time next year and a new coach might well have a different opinion on who he wants in his squad.
Linniker was suggesting on MOTD on Saturday that he gets called up quickly as other nations are sniffing around
Livramento ...
I don't think we will get him tho .

Booked channel tunnel £120 on the wed
It's 1100 miles from my hoos tae Munich ( 2 tanx of petrol @£200.)
The Friday night start has helped as the English won't be travelling till later ,so tunnel prices very reasonable.
campervan, so accommodation sorted.
no idea when we'll be home...🏴🇧🇪⚽
