Scotland loses its automatic place in the Champions League group stage as of 2025-26.
Plzen's draw with Fiorentina tonight was the result that did it.

why are fans of wee clubs always raging ?

Since the last postponement at Tannadice in 2021, Dens Park has seen 14 games called off. Climate change impact must be very localised in Dundee.

What a farce. Sky must be thinking we are total amateurs . Probably middle of next week now and it will interesting to see what Motherwell and Hibs think about it as Dundee will effectively know what they need to do in terms of results.

Apparently Hearts will be hit for £100k by the SFA if they don’t sell their remaining semi final ticket allocation.

Pitch inspection 11am tomorrow at Dens Park.

Like the law being quoted above which is subjective, nobody with 100% certainty can say the tackle was reckless, careless or excessive force
yes.

do you think the tackle was “careless, reckless, or using excessive force.”
Certainly careless. He left high leg high and he left it hanging and Silva did what most players would do. Ran through it.

Still waiting for you to tell me which law you were referring to specifically
"Under Law 12, a foul should be given when a player “tackles an opponent to gain possession of the ball, making contact with the opponent before touching the ball." That would suggest Johnston would be in the clear as he did appear to make contact with the ball first.
- there is a caveat if the defending player is deemed “careless, reckless, or using excessive force.”
Careless” is when the player has not exercised due caution in making his play, “reckless” means that the player has made unnatural movements designed to intimidate an opponent or to gain unfair advantage. And "excessive force” is when the player has far exceeded the use of force necessary to make a fair play for the ball and has placed his opponent in considerable danger of bodily harm.

Why is so hard for ex pros plus Michael Stewart to understand that a defender can get a touch on a ball but if they kick a player in the same action a pen can be given? Why do they think their view trumps that of experienced ex refs, most pundits and general sensible objective fans ?

If you can’t see the difference between a few arseholes that populate every support and what are clearly major security issues inside Ibrox then I can’t help you. 🤷🏼♂️
Remember the bottles and coins that were aimed into Celtic dugout didn’t come from the cheap seats at Ibrox. Things were so bad at one point that they couldn’t guarantee the safety of a pundit so that he could do his job. Not a hint of embarrassment or apology about that statement by the way, they put it out there like a fuckin badge of honour.
Something needs done and pronto!
Its near on impossible to prevent a nutter from doing this however I remain utterly bemused how someone can enter a stadium these days equipped with bottles or other makeshift weaponry. They need to be banned of course but criminal sentencing must be significant.

Never mind the Old Firm, after the euphoria of getting promoted at the Wembley in the play offs less than a year ago Carlisle Utd relegated to League 2. 6 league wins so far this season. Awful. My son plays for CUFC CST, last season they finished 3rd behind Everton & Man City, this season they're bottom of league as well.
Roll on the euros ⚫
Carlisle should be punching a lot higher in terms of their catchment area and potential albeit they are in a Rugby League area.

Dermot Gallagher on Sky Ref Watch says both pen decisions were correct. Disallowed goal decision was correct.

I didn't notice till this morning than the celtic defender got a touch of the ball too, he then connects with Silva who's delayed reaction tells you everything.
Tells us he made the most of it but under todays application of the laws it’s a pen.

I’ve just seen that Joey Barton thinks it was a penalty, I’d like to change my answer.
Peter Grant does as well. That’s good enough for me

We’ve taken I point from 9 against Celtic. And could be 2 points heading into the split. That’s pretty remarkable.

You’re not doing yourself any favours 🤷🏼♂️
Apologies. I find it hard to take lectures on fan behaviour from Celtic fans. I’m not saying Rangers shouldn’t be held to account. Action should be taken. But I can’t guarantee you it will be reciprocated in May and not a word will be said.

In recent games at Ibrox the Celtic physio has had his head split open with a glass bottle, Joe Harts penalty area littered with broken glass and numerous fans (when they were allowed in) injured by flying batteries, golf balls and bottles ……..but your response is to indulge in whataboutery from 24 years ago.
Have a word with yourself Ed 🙈Hard not to forget. The same game seen a ref assaulted by the same fans. 😊.

I can’t see the problem with our pen. He caught him. Same defender got away with one in a previous OF this season.

What is it going to take for the governing body to do something about the disorder inside Ibrox at these games? They had no Celtic fans to pelt with missiles today so attacked the bench again instead!
It’s not on but will be swept under the carpet as usual by todays ‘moral winners’. 😏Oh the irony. I was at CP in May1999 mate. Our players were pelted at the went down the tunnel. No excuses though. Needs to be sorted.

Don't like the way we threw it away. Our defence is shocking on the left hand side.. Rangers penalty was shocking. Flavio Silva is a disgrace... It's in our hands now, win remaining matches, the title is ours. I believe rangers are playing away 5 or their remaining 7 matches. Disappointed, but I'll take the draw.....
Yes I say the deck is now stacked in Celtics favour but it could have been a whole lot worse for Rangers.
