Surely it makes sense to lose a max of £46 from booking early. Or wait and pay £200 more for flights and accommodation. Net result is a gain of around £150 based on booking early. Common sense approach surely.

Neither team would be at full strength and as mentioned a wonderful opportunity to play 2 very good teams. Don't think for 1 minute either would gub us. Full strength Germany only won via the odd goal twice. We are quick to moan when we play cack like Qatar and Nire, but then moan when for once we may have exciting fixtures. Bizarre.

Metz is lovely. A wkd there in June with some sunshine would be cracking. Would expect a sellout as it would be the French final game b4 finals. A bit like the friendly in Arnhem in 2000. Proper party atmos in the town and inside the stadium. A cracking fixture if confirmed.

Agreed. We didn't qualify because 3 other teams were better than us. Would be more useful debating why in the 3 months since we have lined up no games. Clearly we ain't bothered.

Only kept 3 clean sheets in the 10 qualification matches. Plus in the 8 games outwith Gib we lost the opening goal in 6 of those 8 matches. Pretty damning stats.
