  1. Booked a table for the 8 of us at Harold Cross Greyhound stadium on the Friday night.Never been to the dugs but food, drinks and a few bets at your table should be a great start to the weekend.Add in that kilts and Scotland tops are welcome and there's a free shuttle bus there and back to our digs in College St , gonna be a top night.
  2. I didn,t say it had any thing to do with Celtic or even Rangers, I said the guys running our game, like Doncaster , are people whose whole ethos is based on Celtic and Rangers being in the top flight cos it'll make their lives a whole lot easier ,it's the only game plan they can work with
  3. Lets face it, the football authorities in this country will do anything they can get away with, to get the old firm back together. If they had been allowed to, they would have shoe horned Rangers back into the first division at the time as a pishy penalty for going down the tubes.Only thing that stopped them was the fans of the diddy teams kicking up hell. Just wait if they get in the play off , the ref will be dying to point to the spot to help them on their way,Doncaster's only game plan at work involves the old firm playing each other, without that he is fookin lost, as the last three years have shown
  4. I feel somebody has been given a Seb Blatter (brown envelope wae money in it) before this decision was made. Either that or Washboarder has a swinging brick instead of a heart
  5. Missed the last trip, on the way out to go.my dog managed to get out the gate and was mown down by a speeding, partially sighted, drunk driver who was on his phone at the time. Spent the next 48hours holding his paw while he was being treated for his injuries and missed the Poland game.although he lost a front leg , wee Lucky is now back to his old self and I'm sure a free ticket could go some way to helping me overcome the post traumatic stress of that day.
  6. Where's the best place for getting letters printed on a large saltire and does anyone have badges for sale from the following games? France .. McFadden Game Spain....Alicante game Wales... gubbed 2-1 game Ireland.. coming up Poland.. October last year
  7. Cheers, is Tara street station not closer.Think we'll head early to Ballsbridge for a bit of atmosphere with the locals.
  8. booked an eight seater for 27 euro each way with Terry Rodden at Dublin taxi transfers. Great deal
  9. Staying in College St, we better off drinking close to the Dart station and heading to the stadium in the afternoon or head to the Stadium early to somewhere near the ground.Or will there be a big meeting point for all fans ? Also , any pointers to best pub near the Times Hostel
  10. . Christ naw! Friday and Saturday will be enough for me.
  11. . Motherwell, driving to Manchester Friday morning for Dublin flight, back home on the sunday
  12. We're going to the dugs on the Friday night. First time for me, should be fun. ( Although I did wake up with a greyhound in my room years ago, after drinking 14 pints of cider)
  13. Hopefully the yes voters of Motherwell can get rid of the odious Frank Roy , a guy who sold his soul to get his nose in the money trough of Westminister politics. Lots of labour voters here have turned against them for siding with the Tories in the referendum.lets hope they are enough to get that waste of space out
  14. Staying in a hostel for the first time, Times Hostel on College St. Eight of us in one room , should be fun! Has a pub next door so that'll balance out the lack of usual four star hotel facilities for our squad
  15. talking of Taxis , any company able to take eight of us in one vehicle from the airport to College St or will we have to get two taxis and therefore pay more
  16. will it be easy to get to and back from the Aviva Stadium to Tara Street on match day on the Dart or will they be mobbed
  17. Manchester , out Friday, back Sunday £112 . Aer Lingus.Two nights in hostel £64 . Sorted
  18. Eight of us in there too, thanks for the info. Pub next door too. Heaven!!!!
  19. my mate put me off Dubai by saying it was just a giant Braehead wae sand round about it
  20. Well try and do yer best to minimise spouting keech then. We have enough wallopers over here dying to drag this game into a British/ Irish , Celtic / Rangers debacle without anybody else joining in. By all means slag of our team etc but I and most of the people really don't want to know whether you consider yourself under British occupation or what should be sung in Gaelic.
  21. Jesus Christ, wish fitba forums were left to the fitba fans
  22. What is the actual point in having a SSC membership? Has my £55 gained me anything over yer average guy in the street other than a wooly bunnet to wear when am out walking the dug in the rain
