  1. I for one will not be singing fos.

I do hope scotland games of the future become like yes rallys.

I dont want to sit beside a unionist so they can keep away till they decide theyre Scottish.

To the guy that said whats changed,we are now the only constituent part of the uk that has ever voted to be a member.

    Definition of a bigot

A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from their own or intolerant of people of different political views, ethnicity, race, class, religion, profession, sexuality or gender.

  2. You do all realize political displays can result in fines, banning and many other punishments. Think before you act, I would rather people didn't actively seek to destroy the reputation of the Tartan Army.

  3. That is not what I was saying at all if you read my posts!

You are talking about not singing our national anthem due to 55% of our populous voting no, when you consider 2/3 years ago many thought it would be 65-80% would vote no that is quite an astonishing turn around. So rather than trying to galvanise our nation and say we will be a nation again. Many on here would rather we changed the anthem, which to me and most neutrals is basically like waving the white flag and saying we give up, instead we should be trying to bring more people to the yes camp by saying while we lost this one by small margin we will unite, continue to grow and we will be independent!

Taking away a powerful anthem like FOS sends the wrong message, if anything due to the turn around in people wanting independence, it should be even more poignant and profound.

  4. was that not realistically our only crack at it

the more time passes the more insurmountable the oil running out fables get

If anything in 20-30 years we would have more access to the oil as the techniques improve which could gives us more financially viable sites... especially on the west coast of Scotland, where a lot of refineries are barred from extracting due to trident

  5. Different situation now. We hadn't voted on it then. We have chosen not to be a nation now.

So what are we never going to try and be independent ever again? One No vote and we all suddenly don't feel Scottish and never want to be a Country (As the UK is considered a country that is made up of 4 nations). Absolute JOKE! Scotland will have another vote in 15-20 years.

Instead of having such a deafest attitude, we should look on it as 2 years ago only 20% wanted independence now it's at 45% with a large portion only voting No for financial security... Imagine what that percentage could be in 10-15 years.

  6. Ihope the unionist no voter mcgregors no playing.

Definition of a bigot... A few other posters on here should also read it

A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from their own or intolerant of people of different political views, ethnicity, race, class, religion, profession, sexuality or gender.

This is from a Yes voter, it's sad that I need to clarify that but I assume some will attack my post

  7. Blair Spittal, come on as sub for few DUFC games recently and scored one goal. Looks a player. Still only 18. Surely he should have a look in for this squad certainly before all those old firm players who are nowhere near their club's first team? Old firm bias once again

In fairness Tom Walsh is out on loan at Stenny, not the greatest team in the world but still first tea football. Walsh, after Telfer left is probably considered the most highly rated youngster at the club.

Sinnamon is also very highly rated and I am surprised they never loaned him out, when they loaned 5 players out at the end of transfer window

  8. Real Madrid rarely loan players out before they are 20-22. They tend to believe they'll do better in the B team (Castilla), which will hopefully be back in the segunda next season, they were recently relegated to the 3rd divison when Jese and Alvaro Morata stepped up to the main team.

Real believe their players will develop better playing for Castilla and training with world class coaches in world class facilities.

If he was at an English club I believe he would be better going out on loan at 19 but in Spain and playing for the B team I believe he's better staying with Real.

If Jack Harper can follow Jese or Alvaro Morata and not go out on loan then break into the team in his early 20s, then who knows what kinda heights he can hit.

##Morata just left Real to go to Juventus for 20 million euros

  9. That's the 'home nations' rule.

It isn't, you can get a passport whenever you are eligible for a passport in that country but you cannot play for that country until you have completed 5 years of residency. This has been the rule for a number of years as Middle eastern and African countries where giving players passports who'd only been in the country a few months and they were fielding teams with Brazilians.

There are a few countries atm who are wanting it put down to 3 years (maybe it has been haven't checked).

Fifa have allowed a few exceptions over the years but generally its 5 years residency.

  10. I don't think anyone is in a position to say if he's likely to be a regular 5 years from now.

Exactly look at Snoddgrass, In 2008 he just moved to a league 1 club after years of hype (and failing to live up to it), now look at him, in the last couple of years he has became probably our best and most consistent player.

  11. Given the rampant racism in Russian football and the escalating political tensions with the West, Feruz was probably right to give the place the swerve.

How they've still got the world cup is beyond me. Even FiFa can't be that blinded by money?
