It is a fascinating thing about science. It first appears to know the universe... while not knowing it all.
E=Mc^2
So taking out the constant
Energy = Mass
Don't understand what Energy is.
Don't understand what Mass is.
Yet set one off against the other and suddenly we understand their inter-relationship quite well. And this is real advancement, not just talk. It is shadows on the cave wall stuff, but brilliant all the same.
You can't just remove the constant that doesn't make any mathematical sense.

Couldn't disagree more, did you watch the programme about Alex Salmond last week? JS came across as a very funny man full of life!
There is no doubting his ability, I think he's an ideal Deputy.
I've went to a few events where John Swinney spoke before the referendum and i don't think the man could be any less inspiring. I talked to him too, nice guy... but yeah.

Maybe somebody in another universe does?
"The important thing is not to stop asking questions. Curiosity has it's own reason for existing."
Maybe something in this universe knows the answer but we don't

Does the universe have a diameter?
I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question
-
The point I'm making is there doesn't need to be one. And not having one doesn't make the universe infinite.
I was addressing the original post.

We don't know whether a boundary for the Universe exists and we may never know. The observable universe is 27 billion light years in diameter if i remember correctly.

good guy but charismatic as a plank of wood, not capable of inspiring people towards independence.

The baby boomers bought all the lies about not getting their pensions and sold their country and the youth down the river. Most selfish worthless generation that ever existed.

When you fracture rock in the ground you are undoubtedly going to generate some seismic energy but nothing that is going to do anyone any harm. We are not talking about the kind of energy generated when when you have oceanic lithosphere subducting under continental crust that generates masive earthquakes. We experience tremors of magnitude 3 or 4 quite often, even in the UK and most of the time people wouldn't even notice it.

As has already been stated by Big Dod fracking is absolutely fine with proper regulation in place. Can't stand the very ill informed media and the green anti fracking brigade talking about ridiculous stuff like Earthquakes and so on.
