Anyone know when was the last time the Dons were top of the league at New Year?

Can't wish death on anyone but I'd be happy if certain newspapers joined the NBLP, e.g. the Record, Scotsman.Nick Griffin and Lindsay Lohan.
Will happily settle for the scummy North British Labour Party however. Feck the lot of them

Received as a Christmas 'present' - it's fecking bowfing.
I was going to pour a bottle of the stuff down the sink as it was too medicinal for my liking, it only got a reprieve when I added it to some Apple juice and thereafter quickly became a favourite summer drink. On its on though it's not great.

Presumably the same would apply to Newcastle fans as well who are desperate to get rid off Ashley. I know nothing about the three bears so aren't going to make any comment on the implied sectarianism except to say that most Rangers fans just want people who are genuinely concerned for the club's future to be involved rather than the mobsters who have been running the club in recent history.Park as in Parks of Hamilton...I guess this solves the mystery of how Jimmy Bellend is still in a job. Wee spy on the inside no doubt.
Personally if I was a hunn I'd take Ashley any feckin day of the week over this shower of shyte but I guess those traditions have to be maintained, could not have RFC run by an outsider, like an ordinary club, for profit...nooooooo. Instead they will run it into the ground, it is the way of the peepil.
Why would you want a guy worth billions owning RFC, clearly that is rubbish. Much better this lot. Oh yes.
Ahhh-root-toot-toot!

Is this a new thing? Anyhow doesn't look like Ant and Dec haven't got any competition.

Laxley have sold to a group of Rangers fans. Most likely the Douglas Park consortium.
An unusual glimmer of good news, just hope the light an the end of the tunnel is not the onrushing train.

I think given what McLeod has achieved in his career to date, the level he's been playing at and our current financial predicament that £1M is a decent amount for us to receive for him. I'd hope there are various different add ons and sell on clauses but knowing our board I'd doubt it.
What does disappoint me is that I'd hope the boy would set his sights a bit higher than Brentford. I'm not for a minute suggesting that he holds out for an EPL team but I'd think he could hold out and move to a bigger/more established Championship team should he want to move on.
I wonder how much of the £1 million Rangers would receive immediately, it wouldn't be the first time a fee has been announced and then money up front turns out to be significantly lower. Anyhow if Macleod leaves and is successful then I have no doubt that larger clubs will circle and snap him up, for a club like Brentford buying young promising players at sensible prices and selling them on is a good business model (peterborough had been very successful using that approach until recently)
-
There is no way Brentford are paying £1m for a Rangers player. That is just made up paper stuff.
Not necessarily Brentford spent a similar figure in the summer buying a forward from Orient who was slightly older than Macleod and had never played at a higher level than the English 1 division.

of course not remotely comparable but worth a cheap laugh .Rangers fans are an easy target.
Maybe English's comments are a cheap jibe he's not well known for his Rangers sympathies but well done to Hibs nonetheless.

See Moshni is in the provisional Tunisian squad for Africa Cup, not only Gers in crisis then!

I can't vote SNP because there won't be a candidate in deepest darkest Hertfordshire but as some one who until fairly recently was a natural Labour voter I hope they get the kicking they deserve. Whatever the opinion polls say I still reckon Milliband's virtually unelectable.

I quite like University Challenge, got asked to go on it once but stupidly turned down the opportunity and regretted it ever since. I'd agree with the general point though the media consciously or otherwise seems to enforce this Great British mind set at every opportunity when it's just really representing middle class England.

Johnny Russell could become a very handy wee busybody kind of player for Scotland. I'd give him a go against Northern Ireland and Gibraltar.
Ikechi Anya got an assist for Watford.
Ross McCormack scored for Fulham. Jack Grimmer is also getting a regular game for Fulham now which is great.
Likewise Liam Cooper appears to be a regular for Leeds. Two young defenders to consider anyway
Nice to see Grimmer getting a few games for Fulham, I think he made his debut when they got absolutley thumped so I feared the worst. We could do with another long term option at right back and he was certianly promising at Aberdeen.

Interesting stuff on the front page of today's Torygraph, allegations made about Tory MPS murdering a child with his bare hands!

I think for many of us any lingering belief in BBC impartiality has we'll and truly gone over the last year.

Dire statement by Somers, blame everyone else and not the board. We are an absolute basketcase of a club.

Its really strange its like some of them really would like to see Scotland hammered to ensure we don't get ideas above our station again.
The reality is if we had been a normal country we would have just had to deal with this. Norway has had to dip into its oil fund a bit more and no doubt other countries big and small will deal with it in their own way until the price goes back up. Scotland would of course have been unique and we would be needing food banks on the streets of Milltimber and UN helicopters dropping Red Cross food and clothing to the masses.
The UK is currently losing money with the oil price how are they coping ???
The oil is a bonus and if, as some clever people have said,Scotland had set up an oil fund and put money away for a rainy day the drop could have been cushioned until the price went back up.
Well observed, when all's well its UK oil, when prices temporarily drops its Scotland's. We should have had 40 years of a oil fund tucked away by now for a rainy day.

Pile of Anglo-centric shite
No surprise there then!

It's almost impossible to think that any more mistakes could have been made by those running the club over the last few years. I don't know whether we will get promotion this season especially if we get anymore results like that against Hibs. We've certainly missed opportunities both on and off the field.
