System works fine as it is.

If you're too poor to afford it, then its just tough luck. Im too poor to afford a Ferrari, so I drive a Ford. Im too poor to live in a mansion on a country estate, so I live in a flat.

Everyone has an opportunity to get home points, there have been plenty of away games recently when low pointers could have purchased a ticket.

I think you’ve missed the initial point it was comparing fans that couldn’t afford to arrange things 6 months in advance.
Nothing to do with points and away games

Surely that can't be true. Would hate to think that a 22 year old man couldn't take a bit of ribbing in a dressing room environment without throwing the toys out the pram. He's not playing at schoolboy level for f.. ks sake. It just can't be true. 😂😂

60 is the new 50,50 is the new 40, 40 is the new 30.

By my reckoning 22 is the new 15. 20-30year olds  today are pathetic, most of them still play with children’s toys.

What was the story with RF?  Did he request to be excluded or just been injured/out of form since 2022

Call him up and there was a 50/50 chance he wouldn’t turn up. My interpretation was that Clarke was making an example of him. Having said that he was in pretty poor form back then so it was an easy choice.
interesting to see what happens next.

30 seconds after coming off the bench too!

He was  fit and on the bench because he’s not actually very good. Another player people are getting over excited about simply because of one stat.

Don’t know about anyone else, but I get the fear whenever I see new posts added to this thread…,

Interesting, my change in medication must be working,I always expect good news about a player recovering.

Since it looks like there is going to be a robust system in place to deter harvesting at home games it’s high time there was a crackdown on harvesting at away games

Everyone should be made to meet at a central location a few hours before the game and get bussed to the ground and you only get your match brief or Bluetooth ticket app activated on the bus with valid ID

Id gladly pay a £10-£15 premium per away ticket for transport to and from the stadium at away games

This way you’re getting something for your buck. You get getting transported to and from the match and is a god send considering some of the stadiums in past have been in some hell forsaken places to get to. More importantly it’s maintaining the integrity of the supporters club

    Need a lot of buses!

Jeez, Hibs are trying to compete with the Old Firm, one Scot in their starting eleven and he's no longer available to us!

Not the only club doing it, Are shit Scottish players more expensive than other countries shit players. Honestly don't get it.

Took over 45 mins to get in yesterday with that queue, despite joining it before 10, including going from 7 mins estimated to back to 15. Anyway, got the 3 of us tickets in D2 so not bad. We are away on holiday for the Northern Ireland friendly so if anyone is interested in the tickets let me know 😁

Leave me your phone and bank card you  used for the purchase and I’ll take them.

Gonna through in the most left field eligible player…sorry in advance.

Christie’s current central midfield partner Alex Scott could play for Scotland. Born and raised in Guernsey so has the pick of the home nations.

Has played for England youth teams but has a Scottish name.

Alex Scott looks like he could become a bit of a player.

  10. Join the supporters club to guarentee a ticket, as long as you can afford it 6 months in adavance. It really shouldnt be the case that the public sale is so close to the members one.

Of course if the SFA don't strike while the irons hot they wont sell out the later games nearer the time if things go pear shaped.

Had a look at the site to see what it was like and applied for two season tickets for me and my 16 year old.

The best available tickets option put me in the north stand and her in the west. Seriously?

Best way to sort out any points harvesting would be to make all games cash at turnstyles and photo id must be shown.

As an aside I am pretty sure the original poster is on the wind up.

  11. Managed to sort it out in a matter of minutes. Going to get tickets for my daughter’s for the Portugal game, ones a school kid the others a teacher so works out well. Asked my son if he wanted to go, he said he might but was thinking about going to Paris with his girlfriend that week. Wants a ticket just in case.

looks like the SFA will maximise revenue without filling the stadium.

    😂😂

hopefully it will still be as simple as that. Out of interest, can an adult get through the turnstile with a kids ticket ? For example, could a small woman sneak in ?? I dont know how that is monitored . i need to think of a cunning plan to save money if I can no longer transfer all my tickets.

Have you seen the size of kids these days!

Shhhhhh 🤐, Orraloon is keeping a record of all harvesters and reporting back to SFA HQ. Your dad will be tagged and under house arrest before we even get to Germany.

Doesnt look like you can transfer unfortunately. Is it possible though for someone to download the app on their phone and sign in with a members details? I have no idea how the app will work .

Not that I am condoning this in any way, simply showing some lateral thinking 👀

Honestly can’t see a way why you cant download the app and log in as someone else.
Problem solved unless the SIM card number becomes involved.

Do you mean you would prefer everyone to have to buy tickets as the games came along rather than a package ?
People would certainly have a better idea if they could manage when its closer to the  games but the SFA will never do this.

They want to have your money upfront and to have you by the balls . This may work when we are in a purple patch like just now but when we are shite again, which will happen at some point , no one will pay for a package if they have no way of passing on tickets. I think the SFA  are shooting themselves in the foot.
It may end up more like individual ticket sales that would suit you right enough.

I live in the central belt and its easy for me to attend home games. Some folk think that jumping on a plane to Cyprus for a wee holiday cum football match makes them a super fan but travelling from where you are , particularly mid week, to Hampden in the often pishin rain, makes you much more committed.

    Pretty much sums it up.

Can't really argue about the seaon tickets. I bought one to guarentee a decent seat for the Ukraine playoff. Used it for that game as I was the only one out of the people i might go to  a game within the supporters club. Never buying one again unless I move to a 6 bedroom house in Cathcart.

Bought four tickets for the Ireland game so I could go with my 2 grown up kids and school age daughter. Went to the Denmark and Ukraine games with my daugher from Edinburgh again not using my season ticket.

Used the season ticket for the Armenia game with empty seats all around me. Mind you I would have been an empty seat at 3 of the other 5 games.

Got everyone supporters club membership for christmas after that so the 4 of us could sit togther for the Spain and Cyprus games. Didn't get the other 3 games as I assumed there would be plenty time. (pretty pissed  there is no double header this time as it saves a lot of money for any one living futher away from Hampden than Leith)

Only thanks to the TAMB did I realise that tickets were selling out fast and as at work contacted my daughter to get tickets for the other 3, missed out on the England game as it was sold out first. Got the to the other 2 games but missed out on the loyalty poiints as she didn't have my club number. Didn't matter so much if I couldn't afford to go, at least she could use my ticket and sit beside a friend.

I will be going to the Northern Ireland game as I booked the time off expecting to watch us use our play off spot!

I will also book the game in October is my youngest would kill me if i didn't take her as it's in the school holidays.

The other 3 i will know were I stand nearer the game time, if theres no tickets available so be it.  I'll watch them on the telly even if that makes me a second class citizen to some on here

Maybe the cost of living crisis hasn't reached some of the more affluent areas of Leith yet but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only persons who's disposable income has dropped.

Your 100% right about the SFA, they are selling something 6 monthes in adavance to take advantage of our loyalty knowing there is no guarantee of selling tickets nearer the time.

Aye Hickey and Gilmour definitely in with a shout. Considering Steven Davis got to 140 caps with NI and that included just one tournament but got his first cap at 20.

You also wonder how many caps either Marshall, Gordon or McGregor might have got if the other 2 didn't exist?

Even more so with Leighton and Goram

That is a joke. A member with every intention of going to the game falls ill the day before and can’t manage. For the sheer audacity of falling ill , and despite history showing you have turned up at every game, you will not get a point and nor shall you pass your ticket on.
For a supposed advanced system it has pretty victorian rules. You want to transfer your ticket boy ???? You want MORE ???

So, I have this wedding that most likely means I wont get to the Portugal game . I either buy a package for my husband and I and throw circa £70 oot the window, or we have to wait for every single individual sale and just take whatever shitey seat is left each time. Possibly sitting apart (small bonus admittedly )
What next , flogging empty seats at half time to maximise profit?

Of course I will take all this back if there is an actual workaround yet to be announced 😆

Big problem for me is the individual sale. I wish it would go back to x amount of weeks before the game.

The fact all tickets are released at once is a joke, more so now if you cant transfer them.

Living in the Western Isles it costs me about £400 and 3 days holiday to go to a game. The four of usup here in the supporters club are  supposed to know were we are in six months time?

    Pass me the crystal ball.
