Polling should be forbidden on the day of the Election.
Haha apart from the proper one of course

Just spoke to one of the YES reps manning the barricades at the polling station in the area I was brought up in. He told me they've had 5 people change from no to YES by 12 o'clock.
The polling station is in a housing scheme and the YES guys are friends and neighbours of the voters, so that May have been an influence.
Interesting to note the no shower didn't send any reps at all.
People are definitely changing their minds at the polling booths.
Amazing!
Out of my close pals its been 11 yes 3 no 1 dk. Today its 13 yes 1 no (he'll never change) and the don't know hasn't voted, but I have faith he'll vote yes.
Some of the posts on here are wonderful to read.
-
Know of someone said 'Yes' on the question in the booth.
Was a No up until then.
-
Well done Andy.
A brave decision to come out for Yes. We all remember the shit he got for joking about Paraguay.
Fantastic - considering his career is relied upon by the elite of London and Wimbledon.
-
Thanks so much Newry.
My Drogheda pal, Goteborg and Montengrin pal all emailed. So emowered and greetin'.
I just hope we do it!
Cannae wait til we play in Glasgow and get back to auld Eireann.

Naw Ned on Newsnight "How can Salmond and Sturgeon talk about childrens' futures when they don't have kids?"
The Daily Mail ran with that as an article a few days back.
-
What will it be?
I'm guessing 80% No 20% Yes at a push.
-
Speaking of Professor Calculus he's everywhere. Whatever happend to James Mitchell?
-
-
Rona Cameron was a big No a while ago.
-
Meeeeeshelllll as Snow pronounced her.
-
YouGov - Yes 48%; No 52%.
That'll do. Same with Survation - trying to steal some thunder.
All within the margin of error.
Let's get that vote out.
Love you all!
-
Superb!
Nearly greetin' listening to Nicky.
Wonderful.

Seen a bit on the news there.
Must have dropped a few tramadols for that enthusiasm!
-
What a mad turnaround. Its looking likely that Yes could end up with their best polling coming from Ipsos, ICM and Yougov. Imagine even thinking that 2 months ago?
Whilst Panelbase was predicted to give us a good lead for months and it never did come around.

Final Ipsos-Mori poll for @STVNews: Yes 49% (+7) No 51% (-7) http://bit.ly/1r1cnJi #ScotDecides

A very interesting link and data samples.

Show this to an undecided or head no/heart yes.
We prefer to be governed from Edinburgh by a huge margin through a series of polls and Salmond is still trusted more so than any of the Unionists leaders to act in Scotland's interests. Just seems we wobble at the word 'Independence' when asked by pollsters.
72% believe Holyrood has our best interests at heart, compared to 27% for Westminister.
69% believe Holyrood will keep our services in the public's hands compared to 30% for WM.
We have a chance tomorrow, to get Holyrood to do all this. All we've got to do is tick the first box.
Lets go for it!

ever since Wheels falling off & Betfair paying threads have disappeared from the front page of the board my mood has slowly went back to optimism.
We are doing it!
Like wise with me.
-
Montenegro voted no in 1992 (I think) as well.
I think Bermuda reject independence too in 95 or so?
-
And thanks to Saatchi and Saatchi, the creatives behind the Better Together's campaign.

He's talking over his fellow guest all the time whilst she allows him to speak.
He claims to have seen capital flight in his own street.
-
So we are within the margin of error for the polls.
Are those DKs really dinnae kens and will they opt for AFI or just soft Nos who are afraid to speak up and bring it home for No?
-
Opnium one is out too - Yes 48 (+1) No 52 (-1)

Loving the optimism.
I don't know, I keep trying to tell myself not to dream too much, it's bloody impossible not too though.
Predictions - 85% turnout. The score, I really dinnae ken!
