Do you type "conspiracy" in to every search bar you see Scotty?
No, I've never done it once.
I found it like that.

Grumpyauldgit - I have the misfortune of being related to a complete fecking right wing crackpot conspiracy nut. The guy is that far out there, he makes our very own Scotty CTA, look sane and sensible.
Anyway he has forwarded onto me an Email which he believes, proves that the New World Order are behind the YES campaign.
To give everybody a laugh I have copied the email he sent
Far from backing the no campaign as you would think, the New World Order is actually backing the Yes side of the argument, as it sees the United Kingdom as a strong force opposed to its dream of a United States of Europe, disguised as the EU.
If Scotland breaks away from the UK, it will take away the North Sea oil fields, which have kept the UK economy afloat for years, and force the RUK to remove its nuclear deterrent from Scottish waters.
The lack of a suitable base, for the relocating of the RUK Nuclear deterrent, forces the RUK to abandon its Nuclear weapons, selling them to the USA, and as the RUK is no longer a Nuclear power, the RUK loses it seat on the UN Security Council, to India.
The loss of the RUK’S permanent seat at the UN Security Council, and the Scottish oil fields, lead many financial institutions to reappraise their views on the creditability and viability of the RUK.
Seeing that the RUK, is no longer a global power, many of the large financial institutions, pull-out of London, and relocate to Frankfurt. The RUK economy crashes, interest rates go up through the roof, credit ratings fall and unemployment hits 10 million; wide spread rioting breaks out, leading to the declaration of martial law, and the installation of a military Junta.
Far from calming matters, the declaration of martial law, and military rule, causes far more unrest with in the RUK, with Wales unilaterally declaring independence, Northern Ireland being annexed by the Irish Republic, and Northern Northumberland stating its intention to join Scotland.
To try to hold together, what little of the country remains, a government of National Unity is formed, and it goes to the EU for help.
The EU stipulates that to get the help it needs, the RUK must join the Euro, join the European defence force, and accept all European legislation; the RUK has no option but to except the offer.
The RUK is now in the grips of the NWO, and United States of Europe is a reality.
Now the question I have to ask is do I vote Yes, because I really believe that Scotland should be a free and independent country, or do I vote Yes, because it will really feck up England.

Only seeing this now.
(I know 'out there'. He ain't that 'out there'.)

Granted I've only seen either team a couple of times but it was more than that surely?
Yes, of course. (I was giving my synopsis.)
The difference in one sentence IMHO...

The Iraq war is a bad example. This is accepted as a terrible decision in hindsight.
It's not a bad example. It's a great example.
Canada said NO to America BEFORE they invaded, whereas Scotland had no choice but to get strung along with Britain.
-
Congrats to newly promoted Dundee on remaining undefeated through the first 6 games, and to newly promoted Hamilton for sitting top of the table.
-
The difference in one sentence IMHO would be the unexpected speedy return of Brown for them and the absence of Anderson for us.
-
re your Canada point ; surely the Quebec analogy is more suited than USA
No, not at all.
Scotland would have loved to have Quebec's powers as we bend over backwards for them yet they remain the biggest crybabies on the planet.
Nothing we do will ever be enough. They have what they because we gave it to them after they were defeated in war. The fact that they never won any rights themselves is worn as the biggest chip on the shoulder ever seen.
Most would love to come to Canada, but they want to leave.
The difference is that most of Quebec doesn't know how good they've got it, and that most of Scotland does know how they're being held back.
England, like the States, is 10 times the population of Scotland and Canada respectively.
Scotland gets roped into whatever nonsense Britain gets itself involved in, but Canada gets to make it's own decisions.
America tried to tell us to uphold their embargo on Cuba, but we go there on holiday.
America went to Viet Nam, and we gave their drafted teenagers refuge.
America tried to tell us that we were going to go to Iraq with them, but we didn't.
How anyone could vote against having their own say is beyond me.

Would be really surprised if Scott Brown started tomorrow.

Some odious songs about terrorist organisations etc. I thought these songs were meant to be a no no nowadays. A sizeable scum element follows that club. Hopefully another insolvency event is just around the corner.
I don't think I could take losing the Union and the The Rangers at the same time.

Amazing.
Please confirm or deny...
You are both 'thplinth' and 'thpinth'.

no bother , we'll agree to disagree
I think Rossy described the situation well.
Loudmouths pushing the envelope to basically the point of an open challenge.
I can't see any reason to vote No, myself.
Would you trade being ruled from Ottawa, Canada to being ruled by Washington D.C. in America?
There's no doubt it's a BIG, BIG, deal and emotions are going to run high.
-
Yep, he went on to do a bit on 9/11 put options.
-
Gotta agree with Rossy here, Wullie.

Good riddance to an old c-nt. Hope he burns in a catholic hell.
I had the privilege of seeing him preach at his church in Belfast, and then got invited to meet him in his office afterwards. Will never forget it.
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:23

Perhaps a 'new England' will find him.

Ahhhh cheers... but are you ModI5 Donny?
Things have changed since you've been away.
Our moderators now operate under the 'Pen and Podium' moniker.
Donny is now referred to as 'Pen15'.

Thon missing plane better not show up.

…effect the current YES lead?
Would it sway things like 7/7 did?
(I'll feel a lot better with an uneventful 13th anniversary of 9/11 behind us.)
-
Coming back for the party?
I'll be framing my Scottish passport and only taking it out when I need to use it.
What's the significance of the boundary of the red area?
The current power base.

What a nice post!
He was definitely one of my favourite posters (and I was definitely not one of his).
I remember him saying that he "needed" the TAMB (as an outlet for his mental sparring?) but (I believe) that ultimately he couldn't afford to say everything that he would have wanted to as it could be seen as a conflict of interest in regard to the position he held.
So rather than risk that, he withdrew.
I'm sure your post will be passed on, but it would be great to hear from him again on here. (Especially after Thursday.)
