  1. I’ve got a similar issue potentially....

the GMB members at my work are being balloted on industrial action. They make up roughly 1/3rd of the hourly paid workforce.

If it goes ahead I’m feeling uneasy about crossing a picket line. I’m a non-member and “salaried” so not directly implicated in the union activity but do support their stance.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

    Not quite mate

Just hoping there would be some respect shown regarding a manager who, despite his many flaws, was also a passionate Scotland supporter himself.

Strachan was more a supporter of the English Championship and League 1.

  3. It’s worrying listening to Barry Fergushon and Billy Dodds discuss the next steps for Scotland.

Scary what they come out with. I wouldn’t trust them to do a 4 piece jigsaw never mind oversee structural changes.

To everyone posting negative comments here- this thread is for thanking Gordon Strachan.

If you don't want to thank him then don't.

    Just leave.

? is this another “you’re not welcome” post?

    beware the boycott

Phillips was / is garbage. He doesn't seem to care about Scotland. He doesn't have the hunger of others.

Griffiths seems to have have a pop at him publically after the game in his interview on sky as well.

Weird.... English CV mercenary doesn’t care about Scotland - Shock.

Got a link to Griffiths comment?

It's shameful that the SFA continue to employ that nasty racist cünt Mackay, jaw dropping if we appoint him manager.

I’d gladly cheer every goal Scotland conceded under him.

    Would be a shameful appointment.

Hardly keeping them in it - they've left it too late, they need too many goals now.

They are still in it. I’m not implying it’s realistic.

    The soft penalty was expected.

Am looking for advice as I had tickets for the game but somehow they got lost. I still had the receipt, my members card and the confirmation e-mail to say I did purchase tickets. The women who claimed to be the manager basically said she could do nothing and go ask the stewards. The stewards said they couldn't do anything and sent me back to her.  I asked if anyway you could get me in with all the stuff I had. She went no as to reprint a ticket she would need to go inside and she wasn't prepared to do that and then I had to pay again to get in do any of use think I could get my money back off the sfa or would I be wasting my time

I had a similar issue at the Wales game at Home. You might as well try but from personal experience I give you zero chance of a refund.

Let us know how you get on!

    Correct.

I apologise, I forgot about the playoff matches that both Smith and Mcleish took us to.

Football is played on grass, not paper, while he may not have had the highest percentages, he took us to the verge of the euros, a stage achieved by no one since Craig Brown.

You keep up with the percentages though statto, I'll keep watching what's happening on the park.

100% agree. The media did an amazing job on Vogts and everyone swallowed it.

  10. What a night that was. Never do things the easy way, Slovakia are a decent side - even with 10 they looked dangerous.

I was raging at the changes Strachan made and thought a lot of players didn’t get pass marks. Happily wrong though, the scenes at the end were fantastic and deserved.

Praying for a result on Sunday now. Their home record looks daunting.
