  1. Decided to watch Dispatches last night, wish I hadn't.

A lot of accusations, a lot of hyperbole, a lot of people saying very similar things. But no evidence was provided, in all honesty, Ive no idea what evidence his potential victims could even have. It must be incredibly difficult to prove these crimes in the days after they happen, let alone over a decade later.

There have been cases where there was 99% cast iron evidence was provided, Mason Greenwood for example, but he has got away with the crime. Brand is a sleezy bastard, that was kinda his selling point though, wasn't it?

The reaction on twitter is as expected, the mental 'believe all women' on one side and the equally mental 'anti establishment' lot on the other side. I think a hell of a lot of people must just live to be permanently offended at something.

He will most likely escape prosecution, unless there is some actual evidence somewhere.

  2. Yerevan is a nicer place to visit and spend a few days IMO. Baku is more modern, and much more impressive with modern French/Italian architecture, set on the sea and very picturesque, but lacking culture or a soul. A bit wanky that, but it felt very sterile and planned.

If you haven't seem much of Georgia, just stay there, Batumi is nice, Kutaisi is a bit blah, Gori is interesting and only a few hours drive from Tbilisi, you can get a train, but the wee mini buses were quicker, even quicker was just to use Bolt and hire a taxi to Gore, it was still pretty cheap. Stepantsminda is an impressive village with great scenery and a few nice bars and restaurants, very nice to visit as a tourist.

Yerevan is a small walkable city, can do a brandy distillery tour, genocide museum, big statue and park, a nice place to spend a few days.

Baku has a couple of nice museums, and an impressive waterfront, but overall Tbilisi and Yerevan are better.

  3. Shocking that the Saudi Arabian league have spent a frankly ridiculous £352 million on players this summer. That just isn't cricket.

How can English clubs keep up with that, the balance of English dominance could be challenged. They have only spent £1,170 million on players this summer, they just can't compete. Something needs to be done.

Middle East blood money for Man City is fine, Middle East blood money for Newcastle is fine, maybe a little but less so than Man City, but still acceptable. PSG a bit less so. Actual Middle East country, and its a step too far.

    * Figures taken from the BBC, so quite possibly absolutely miles out.

  4. 24 minutes ago, Caledonian Craig said:

No. Purely, on the grounds, like all of us in any job, he has brought the BBC into disrepute with his actions - illegal or not. That is a sackable offence in any line of work.

Granted, Ive not followed this story, but signing up to OnlyFans is a sackable offence? Really?

If anyone is offended by that, they they need to get a grip on reality. The only cunts offended will no doubt be religious middle class English zealots who support Boris and co.

If this story is really about a depressed man looking at porn to feel better, its hardly newsworthy.

  5. International Teams

    • Wales, bigger cunts than England.
    • Netherlands, always found them to be just big tall & smug.
    • USA, probably more based on the Ryder Cup, but Im tarring them with the same brush.

    Club Teams

    • Old Firm Utd, obvious reasons
    • Tottenham, think Spurs have won a cup in my lifetime, but they all think they are massive for some reason.
    • Newcastle, Sunderland, Aston Villa haven't even done that, but think they mean something.
    • Real Madrid, not football fans, booing Bale, Ronaldo, even remember Raul getting abuse, just ridiculous.
    • Edinburgh to Santiago, 1 night in Santiago
    • Santiago to Seville, 3 nights in Seville
    • Seville - Santiago - Edinburgh

Booked the outwards flights a month ago, booked the return flights when the game was confirmed as being in Seville.
