the only way to save the party is through and absolute drubbing in the by election that will send the “real members” into panic mode,,

...and which could send the majority of members, who only joined as the SNP is only route to independence, to say ach fuck this, I give up bothering anymore.

    See hertz / Tottenham 🤷‍♂️

Hibs are at home to Villa next week rumoured to be getting moved forward to Wednesday tho

Could be a thumping for Hibs. I sincerely hope I'm wrong tho. Spend a lot of time in England listening to twats bad mouthing Scottish football despite constantly pointing out the difference in finances.

How do teams like Hibs and Motherwell keep embarrassing themselves and all the rest of us in these games? St Johnstone did about four years in a row in Europe, beat Rosenberg, drew with Galatasaray, no embarrassing defeats. What the fuck is wrong with shitholes like Hibs?

Can't speak for Hibs and I know you're just using them as an example but Motherwell have a large turnaround of players every season now, no one seems to be on long term contracts. We seem to spend every summer trying to replace our best players. During this period when we are scrambling around for replacements the European qualification games start.  That's my excuse anyway but yes they should probably still have enough to deal with some of these teams.

Has anyone else noticed how often it gets cooler around 9/10 o'clock - so much so that you think you might blast the central heating for a bit - but then around midnight it starts getting humidish again ?

    It's fucking annoying

Whoa there Rockefeller! The heatings no allowed back on til the clocks go back.

I've told my Mrs it's the law.

Apparently David Moyes on the verge of getting sacked. The club won't back his potential signings. How is that his fault. Only posting this because he is Scottish and I have always liked the man. Oh aye, and West Ham are a share of cnuts !!😉

Anyone who tries to buy Harry McGuire should be automatically sacked. Moyes has done well but he's a bit of a dinosaur, he should have went at the end of last season on a high.

Oh and Up The Hammers ⚒️⚒️⚒️

  6. Love these group games before league season starts, far better than boring friendlies. On another point, Kevin Clancy should be fined for his incompetence yesterday at Fir Park. Added 5 seconds injury time despite 10 substitutions, a sending off and a stoppage for a head injury. A late goal for East Fife could have affected the seedings for the knockout stages.

Another great result for Airdrie tonight. Didnt have much by way of attacking in 2nd half but ICT 1st goal was a worldie and their 2nd was a pen that didnt look like a pen.

Over past 3 seasons we have been a really good footballing team that seems to be holding us in good stead. Confident going into the league. A draw in last game means progession in the cup for 1st time in a long time but even a defeat might mean we qualify depending on other group results.

Watched Dundee Utd game aswell. They were backs to the wall against Falkirk. They look like they are on the verge of being a good team but defo something missing.

Had them as clear favourites for the league. Especially when you look at squad depth but dont think they will walk it.

A rare statement coming from a Motherwell fan but it's great to see Airdrie's improvement over the last couple of years. Really think they are capable of causing a surprise and get promoted this season. Here's hoping anyway, Well v Airdrie is a fixture I miss.

Motherwell. How are you going to replace Van Veen and Johnston?

It'd be a minor miracle to unearth another Van Veen but we'll see how our new striker from Walsall does along with the new holding midfielder we've signed (North Macedonia international). Johnson was a sore one to lose, he was shaping up really well, thought he'd give it another season to really establish himself and get a bigger move. Strum Graz was a surprising choice as he had a lot of interest from all over Europe. Been really impressed with Kettlewell, he has done an incredible job turning around the awful start to last season under Hammell and has cleared a few out. Hopefully he gets the other 2 players in he is after and we could have a decent season. And a real plus our new away top has upset Celtic fans as they think it looks like an Orange Sash (I always thought orange sashes were V shaped) but we've signed a full back called Pape to balance things out 👍
