  1. Rangers have demanded a five-figure compensation sum from Dundee over the two postponements at rain-hit Dens Park, the sum being the cost of their two pre-match stays in St Andrews - as well as their travel expenses.

From The Sun so may not be accurate but travelling from Glasgow to Dundee requires an overnight stay? Ah to be a mega rich club.

I think I'm for Swinney now.  Give him a chance.  I don't even think he's boring either.  He can putdown quite well and still has fire in the belly.

Hopefully people, including guys on here who complain about the 'divide and conquer' tactics of the establishment, will pull together for the main objective.

Hopefully Forbes will be a future First Minister/Prime Minister/President of an Independent Scotland in our lifetimes.

Why is that bit so important to you? I can't get my head around why such a minor issue has gained so much importance.

Because the establishment whipped it up into what people were constantly talking about. Keeping it continuously in the news to batter fuck out the SNP whilst not mentioning the cross party support.

If your idea of a leader is someone that might actually take Scotland to Independence then there is only one candidate at Holyrood - it is as simple as that

Agree. The worry being young voters being put off simply because she fell into the trap of sharing her religious views. Next time the media go on about it hopefully she'll say my religion is a private matter. We need more atheists in politics.

  5. Hibs now joining the race for The Stupid Statement Award.

Meanwhile, Hibernian have voiced strong objections to the SPFL as they believe Dundee have gained a sporting advantage in the race for a top-six finish after their Scottish Premiership game against Rangers was postponed until after the Edinburgh side's final game before the split.

This sums up the ridiculousness of the old firm rivalry.

It's time both sides put the sectarian shite to one side. You can still be rivals, that doesn't have to end.

Never going to happen and will never be encouraged to happen. Too many "fans" would lose interest. As Squirrelhumper says above - they thrive on it.
